Jordynl a dit : Ahh, Smogon uses two versions for the Pokemon in Pokemon Showdown. It depends on what the user wants really, they can customize the Pokemon sprites as the 3D models from XY to SM or use the 2D sprites from B2W2. So yes, they do rip them, but only the ones available in the games. If someone goes for the 2D sprite style and wants to use a Pokemon that doesn't have a sprite in B2W2 however, Smogon already has that covered. In a thread discussion, people will volunteer to make sprites for that Pokemon (both backside and front) or hunt for one. If they want to use a sprite someone else made on DeviantArt, they ask the person and if the person says yes, then it's added. They don't make the updates one by one. Once they have all the sprites they need for people who choose the 2D customization and the info for the Pokemon in general, they cluster it into a gigantic update that adds them and the Pokemon's available moves. .. I'm one of those people who choose the 2D customization because why not E: Also, I'm asking this for other people, do you mind if you add in the shiny Mimikyu? I just edited my sprite and I want to add it asap before people get "spammy" about it The sprites.   |
