The community platform (the platform that keeps the friends list, tribe, whispers, election, and more working) goes down sometimes.
It causes bugs like this, but it gets back up in a couple of hours on its own.

the community platform is what allows you to whisper people, talk on tribe chat, and see your friends / tribes list. when this goes down or is buggy people will say the platform is down.

You need a 30KB file and you go to your Profile on the forum. Click the Gear and hit change Avatar.

I did the event but i didnt get anything >:I

I made a new account (because this user is trash ;.;), and I can't figure out how to disable the tutorial pop-ups. Is there a way to turn them off, or am I doomed to lose a first because the tutorials got in the way?

Apparently, you have to at least get one feather and bring it back (under the statue) so you can get the prize if the bar is filled.

I think that doesn't work. For guest accounts, typing /nosouris will not stop the tutorial, unsure if it was the same for new accounts. I remember there being a bug thread about it but I can't recall if it was in the tfm subforum or the staff subforum.

edit: found what I was looking for in the staff subforum, wasn't a bug topic though.

Additionally, if you have already completed one event map, you have to wait until the next time the event map comes around to receive prizes (15-30 minutes). For example, if you complete the event map in one room, then quickly switch to another room and complete it there as well, you won't receive prizes for the second event map. This is to prevent room hopping.

There indeed is a bug topic posted about it here, but the topic was about guest accounts, not new accounts. ^^;
