it mostly depends on how good your connection is to the host server and your wifi speed
but malware, a bunch of open programmes, etc can slow down your whole computer

Do you mean that you get the message: "Your session has expired" even if you tick the "Keep me logged in" button?
If that's what you mean, then it was already reported. I tried it before and it did the same to me, I stopped ticking it since it's doing that, now I am not sure if it was fixed but if you're still experiencing that then it wasn't.
If you check this post, nothing's mentioned about it being fixed so I guess they still didn't.
