Good evening, I just stepped on this discussion, I'd like to say it's not like this in the Italian server, but it's not possible.
There's a lot going on here, We are the amusement park of a gang that has a wicked way to have fun, and I don't find fair to ask us to just handle this situation alone.
First of all, we're a small server and we almost know each other. We can't just ignore somedoby who's willing to cause trouble since he started playing because they'll create a new account to start insulting again, empowered by the fact that he won't likely get a sanction. We can't ignore 40 accounts from the same player!
I'm saying this because sadly that's what's happening right now.
There are a lot of 8-9 yo players here, that have to be "protectteed" by this rude players, not just asking them to ignore (we're also talking about paedophilia in the room, that's something that also happens, mature players harassing underaged girls).
Hackers: that's not something strictly related to "No server mods". I'd like to make an example: there's a player X that has been hack-banned a few days ago, only because, after an hour of reporting Francesco called Jacobbbbbbb in room personally. From that day this player logs with a diffferent account (or guest) for HOURS hacking, disconnecting and loggin in again with another account and ip. Yesterday we reported it in group several times, but nothing happened. I had to handle the situation personally and contacting all the mod and admins in the IRC chat, and after 2 other hours I managed to get the help of Makinit. But we're talking about a player that for 3 hours has done everything in his possibilities to ruin the game to a whole community.
I don't think this is the way things like this should be handled. It's been a month since we are discussing this situation , and we only got vague responses.
Where's our staff? What are they doing for us? That's what a whole community is asking to itself right now while facing something that is way beyond ridicolous. There's a lot of people complaining about the staff, is it possible that we're all crazy? Or MAYBE it's our staff tthat is really doing less than nothing.

I'm sorry that some petty thing I did for a lark was taken much more seriously than your troubles. It's outrageous.

To be terribly honest I think this kinda stems from an issue of having too many separate community servers.
But I'm not sure if mods can jump servers easily •—•
But basically there's too many rooms for the mods to cover.
(Didn't we have this exact issue 3 to 4 years back?)

Anyways I'm curious to know how large the staff team for IT is

There is a small team of staff for IT, however supply & demand makes it difficult to get more staff. We are currently working on new, more convenient ways, to hire for smaller communities and hope this new method will help to bring in some suitable applicants. For now, if you are an IT player you'll need to report and whisper report, then ignore- that's the best we can offer at the moment.

Then wouldn't it be better to try searching the other communities moderation teams for some mods who can speak Italian.
I'm getting the impression that the Italian community itself has a large population that isn't able to become a moderator due to age restrictions (I may be wrong)

Pretty sure they can.

Italian isn't really a common secon language like French, English or Spanish. The only mods I know that speak Italian are rype and muffun. I think rype is away and I think muffun plays regularly.
I also think they're listed as IT mods already. We generally help for any language we can speak.

Still have the issue of larger amount of rooms though. I guess having more communities is a double edged sword

How active is the italian staff if the sentinels have to ask both me and Stormleg to help them with the reports and to translate the thing you was talking about?

She was literally just saying that. Applications appear to be open and we are working on a new, better recruitment set up to replace that. For now you can talk to Muffun and Rype when he logs in and/or like Secretive already said report and ignore for now. We know its frustrating and that there are work arounds to ignores but this is all we can do. If we could do more, we would. RO which is/was much bigger was in a much worse situation for over a year until finally tarmac and teoo came along and other communities were in the same exact situation for a long time like DE, NL, HU. There is literally nothing more to discuss here except to kick up a fuss in order to get a reply.

You can use IRC, message the mod on forums, message on CFM. IRC is your best option.

Hello, I have to complain about a farmer, whose nickname is "Savecimemo". I saw him on RO server, favoing firsts himself with another souris accounts. Now you look at his cheeseformice's stats and how is possible to have a shaman save ratio of 301.141%?. I have no doubt about his illegal farm.
