Left as is: @6009797 - Jotatavo - This map, while it does give the illusion of having multiple variations that the Shaman can take, primarily due to the crevices you offered, will majority of the time be completed in the same way, which in the end can become quite repetitive and even may be seen as monotonous. @7048783 - I_Eat_Cheese - From the public tests I have done, all of the Shamans were confused about the dynamic ground's function, about whether or not it could move, one even simply gave up entirely. I appreciate all of the edits you have done for this map, but there isn't much you can do to keep this concept without the continuing confusion that we have been seeing. @6939387 - Pjfsamora - Thank you for submitting this map, however upon closer inspection, it is very closely related to your prior map, and we would not want to overdo a concept repetitively @7051537 - Poteerfotter - Even while this map creates the illusion of having multiple solutions or ways to complete the map, majority of them will not be used as the more common way that the Shaman's completed this map was through just by building a bridge and this as a result, can become quite repetitive. The map as a whole as well is very simplistic and doesn't create any inspiration from the Shaman. @6620006 - Framnm - Your edits are appreciated, however the design is very simplistic and dull, as a result of this, the Shaman's will not be inspired nor challenged at all in their builds, which is quite unfortunate. The bottom two grounds aren't even needed as well for them to complete the map, rendering them useless. @6657739 - Srbanshee - There is a lot of excessive useless space in this map, that will hardly even be used, it is extremely generic and doesn't provoke the Shaman with any creativity regarding their builds whatsoever. @6988222 - Fulist - I like the design and idea behind this map, however there is a few things I would suggest. Move the Shaman spawn to the bottom middle ground, so that they have more to build and it gives that space some practical use. Also, please make it so that with the grounds that cannot collide with objects clear, so it removes any future confusion. Once you apply these edits, I will P1 this map. @7042799 - +Mistersacri - Your edits are so appreciated! As stated before, there is enough challenge provided for the Shaman slightly, however not at all in a vexing manner, that being said, unfortunately the paths that you made for this map are rather unbalanced, this is primarily due to the small amount of space that the Shaman has to build near the top of the map between the vertical ground. Once these edits are applied, feel free to submit this map again! @6464590 - Sekui - Thank you for applying the edits I suggested, however this map is morerather still on the very simplistic side of things and lacks the ability to inspire the Shaman or challenge them with their builds. All in all, it just isn't exciting. @5909337 - Sdysywj - This map is quite overwhelming for the Shaman to encounter entirely, there is hardly any room for them to build, either. Maps such as these are very irritating to have in rotation. @970700 - Rikkeshang - Personally, I very much so despise defilante death coins, as they can create the sense of being overwhelmed for the Shaman and it forces them to build in a particular space, which is unfortunate as it doesn't inspire nor give them any creativity for their builds, it feels restrictive. The map overall, is on the more dull side of things as well, please add other obstacles that aren't as vexing. @4979276 - Reppam - It's a interesting idea, however these dynamic grounds don't serve much of a purpose and the map itself is on the more incomplex side of things, so here is something I would suggest; make these dynamic grounds have the ability to have objects attached to them, and if you were to do this, please make it evident to the Shaman to avoid any future confusion (you can do this by attaching a small box, perhaps). That way, it gives more of a variety to this map and makes it a bit more interesting. Also, maybe if you were to implement that, make the clouds larger in length, while this is typically seen as a nuisance, it'd be that small nudge that we need to challenge the Shaman. @7050773 - Tdft - It gives the atmosphere of building a buildathon type map, since there are plenty of things that the Shaman must build for, the map overall is very monotonous, and due to the defilante death coins, it forces the Shaman to build in a certain area or way; this can result in irrtation or vexation from the Shaman. @1551022 - Danielmago - While I can appreciate that it forces the Shaman to be rather resourceful, it gives off the illusion of having plentiful amounts of ways that the Shaman could use to complete the map, this is due to the crevices you have added, however; majority of the Shamans during testing have all built the same pattern, due to this, the map can become quite repetitive. @7053193 - Yuugiooohhhh - This map may be overwhelming for the Shaman, because even though you have offered plenty of space for them to build, it overall is too much to build in such little time, and given the obstacles you have added (the diagonal cloud and ground) this is a obstacle that is very frustrating as it limits the Shaman's creativity when it comes to their builds. There is also many spaces throughout this map that are proven to be unnecessary. @7050983 - Cluly - The use of cobwebs for P4 maps are almost always frowned upon, and this is one of those cases. The irritation is due to the fact that mice can get stuck, and it's a tiresome obstacle for the Shaman to encounter. The map itself is morerather uneventful and doesn't encourage any resourcefulness. @6989557 - Tiojeje - While this map does offer two clear paths for the Shaman to take, regarding the completion of the map, the map overall is rather bland, therefore making it uninteresting. @7053611 - Amaciadoo - While this map has a interesting design and a few distinct variations that the Shaman could take, majority of the Shaman's during testing hasn't used the ice whatsoever, rendering it useless or unneeded. This is primarily due to because building on ice, nonetheless diagonal grounds is frustrating at most. @7053215 - Therocksong - There is a lot of space in this map that will not be used at all, which can render it to be unexciting in every sense of the word, it doesn't inspire the Shaman, nor challenge them. It only gives them more to build, thus creating a buildathon atmosphere. It [the map] doesn't provide any obstacles, either, making it uneventful. @7053935 - Mardeicoo - This map can be completed without the aid of a Shaman. @7035912 - Mythofcheez - The use of portals in P4 maps are almost always frowned upon, as they take up the entirety of the map and take away from any creativity that the Shaman could of had, Divine mode would be a breeze for this map, as well which is unfortunate. With the vertical and diagonal grounds, the building aspect of the map may even be considered too complex for newer Shamans as well. P1'ed: @7051218 - Lezkip - Typically, (on a personal note), I don't really like the use of portals in Shaman maps, as it doesn't provoke the Shaman to be resourceful whatsoever and the entire point is ruined by Divine mode, it's a straight forward map and has a cute simplicity to it. While there isn't many variations to this map (as it can be solved by a simple bridge like structure) I believe P1 will do. @6999868 - Pratton - Your edits are appreciated! As stated in the previous review, the map is pleasing to the eye and very straight-forward, providing just enough of a challenge due to the clouds you have put as obstacles, thankfully, they aren't at all too vexing to encounter. P1 will do. @6793770 - Mquk - The design of this map is very interesting, something I hadn't encountered before. That being said, the solutions that you have offered the Shaman are more or less, well balanced which is always a plus, however, the map doesn't really challenge the Shaman, nonetheless it's a map I enjoyed, so P1 will do. Will be discussed: @7039616 - Victorgabino - Your edits are appreciated! Now, there is a decent balance between having a challenge and inspiration for the Shaman. There is multiple variations that they could take for this map, inwhich are all quite balanced. Ignored: None Dernière modification le 1487291400000 |
