If you were to leave me with a sketch book, a pencil, and an eraser, you'd be amazed of how many pictures I would draw.

I always find new ideas, so using pencil and paper is easier.

Alot of people are good on computerized programs, but I can't use them, it just doesn't seem right to me. It feels weird.

I draw badly, but I grew up having the closest friends in the world:

People find it hard to believe that I can't do online programs, and I don't care. When I grow up, I'm hoping to be an artist, with my art in muesums.

Same for me, but I like manga/anime style better and that stuff isn't for museums (unless it had great historical value).
My devices? i'd love to have a Wacom tablet or some special drawing tablet but for now I have to stick with an iPad, MS paint and a Nexus. Actually, just MS paint. i draw with pen and paper, scan, then edit :) That's how I made my avatar.

I use Bamboo Fun Pen and Touch.

I actually used to do some good stuff with my touchpad, but now I've become reliant on a tablet and anything I try with a touchpad comes out as a mess, now.

My main program is Paint Tool SAI, since it's easiest to use and I've gotten used to it. PS and GIMP are so complicated, and I have no idea how to use them properly. D: *COUGHdeselectingimpCOUGH*

Occasionally I will use other programs, though. I mostly use GIMP when I'm making GIFs, AZPainter for the different effect the brushes give there, and FireAlpaca for when I want smoother lines (although AZPainter does the same).
I used to use dA muro a lot when I didn't have a tablet, although I've pretty much completely stopped using it now. And MS/Windows Paint ...? ...will always be my baby. =w=

For those of you without tablets, I suggest you try FireAlpaca. It neatens your lines, even when you use a mouse of touchpad, which is really useful. You could also try using the vector tool in SAI, although I've never managed to figure out how to use it properly.

I second this! Though I also recommend FireAlpaca to tablet users and particularly for mac users who'd like something similar to SAI, as there still isn't a properly working mac version of Paintool SAI and FireAlpaca is a great go-between for Photoshop and SAI.

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and a (slighty temperamental) Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen and Touch for digital work, I'll occassionally use Sketchbook Express because the pen and pencil settings on that programme give a really lovely line-quality, that's also a very good free programme with a lot of extra add-ons AND it doesn't cost much to upgrade to the professional version if you want more features (we're talking £50 compared to £400+ for Photoshop)

I know this thread has been mostly digital based but when I'm working traditionally I often use fineliners (Faber Castell, Staedler or Sakura Microns, don't even bother with UniPin fineliners they will only last you a week), brush pens (I recommend ZIG graphic twin brush pens if you can get your hands on them, if not Muji do a really good brush pen) and brush and ink. I sometimes use Windsor and Newton watercolours but I haven't done any tfm art with those yet!

I'm forced to use my laptop touchpad, but I would like too have and wacom bamboo tablet or one of those tablets that cost about $100 for a 12 x 10 inch but is over good(and I'mma customize it with panda stickers if I'm hyper)

Sadly with a touchpad and using Paint Tool SAI, I have to use curves for lineart to avoid my lineart being messy if done without the curve tool in SAI.

I'm a pretty good and fast drawer using paper and pencil, but if you add me + coloring on paper = some-grey-smugdes-on-lines-that-you-can't-see. The reason why I don't color in paper. I like to shade on the tip instead of side and somehow draw not lightly.

o-o i use gimp. and for non digital stuffs i use all sorts o things.. Pens, pencils, crayons, and markers o-o and paint.. and im planning on gettin an art tablet.. dunno what kind.. tho.

i use a bamboo pen tablet for digital artz
and for traditional artz i use a pencil (i rarely use a pen :/..)

I don't have a tablet, I use Gimp on my laptop which is touch screen. Dis is what I get...not very good, Im so jelly (something we say in my school) of all you awesome artists..

no. I use it.. i havent drew with a tablet, EVER.
My brother has one.. but we dont have the installed program for it..
so i cant use it

I draw using A Wacom bamboo capture, and photoshop CS6 =D ( my aunt works for adobe so I get software dirt cheap =3)

I only use paper and pencil now...
