Look at the node-server code. You could easily add a http-server there to create that api (4-5 lines?). I just ask you to not use my server for api-ideas :P

The http-server is not doing that. I wrote a little applicationserver in node.js that listens at port 8088 in this example which acts as a wrapper from Client <=>My Server <=> Tig's server (The client can't directly open tcp sockets to another domain in javascript).
It is all in the nodeserver folder in the source on bitbucket.
