You can already mute whispers (/silence or /silence*) and tribechat (/mt).

Oh, and by the way, for those people who are going to go like "omg u dumbass there's the option to block chats from other communities and u can always ignore everyone in the room!"...
1) This was suggested months before that settings thing came out.
2) What if you're in a room of 50+ people? Ignoring them all should be quite fun. Go try it out yourself. BR server. Room 1.

Then this thread seems useless to keep alive since this system has been made.

The option to block chats from other communities only blocks the ones that aren't in the same language from what I know of it.

cos it's the single best suggestion i've ever seen here. i'd rather turn off the whole chat than have to systematicly ignore every single player that says things i don't wanna read or has a bad attitude :)
