Technically you can change the status of any map, but actual discussions would still need take place and you would not be able to discuss your own maps. If you perm your own maps just because you want to you'd obviously be fired on the spot.

I don't think P1 matters though...

Not allowed to P1+ our own maps; just make them P21, P22, P32, P42, P44, or P0 stuff regular mice can ask to get done themselves. If we're just editting something insignificant/broken then we can deperm and fix it and reperm.

What map perms are used for modules?
Due to issues with P0 (normal), P22 (tribe house), and P44 (deleted) maps loading on the server the first time after a restart, a new perm type (P41) was introduced that rectifies this issue and is used for modules. Maps will only be made into these perms as needed and not by request, and they don't count as a "higher perm".
Modules make use of other perm types that don't show up in standard rotation too.
P21 - Vampire (vampires are randomly selected like normal Vampire Survivor)
P32 - Dual Shaman
P41 - Minigame/Module maps

So basically P21 is the Vampire test map category.

Are we able to ask for XML's of certain vanilla maps to help create vanilla map paradys? I'm trying to find exact co-ordinates of 67 but it's becoming complicated

With the exception of the new maps added this past update, vanilla maps don't have XML, they're built into the client.

I'd take a screenshot of the vanilla map, place grounds in relative spots, then place a screenshot of my version on top of it, making a bunch of tweaks until it was exact.

In addition to this post, unless you're aware of the tool that might help to do this tedious work, I'd recommend you Map Pad tool, which can be downloaded by this link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/78185832/MapPad_0.68.zip

Just open a screenshot (800x400 px) and put it as an underlay and copy obstacles.
