It's a forum rule, specifically in the Off-topic subforum. No threads about politics or religion allowed.

There's no rule about it in-game, but mods will still intervene if a conversation about politics or religion turns into an argument and gets out of hand or if they suspect someone is just trying to get a rise out of other players.

i'm trying to find clarification on this now, as I don't wanna be breaking rules. Though they can hardly penalise me if they've not actually published those rules anywhere surely...

either way, IRC mods are all afk, so this could take a while

thanks finland :) makes sense to be a forum rule as politics has no place in a forum around a mouse game :P but it's good to know it's not banned IG as i do it fairly often :) If it is, as you say, punishable if it escalates to fighting, i assume in the small print those people are punished for baiting or fighting, not specificity talking politics

Cool! I think in this week the Election System is here! Will the mayor have powers?

I think this could be a set up to allow for a better suggestion system maybe? (Since not everyone goes on the forums) We elect the person who we think will best represent the majority of tfm, who can then take suggestions that they think will improve the game and pass them on to staff. (I'm just speculating though, a better way would be to make ingame polls but who knows, this is more creative if it's what I think it is.)

The election system is just fur related

I hope this is server based and that there will be some form of restrinction, if not, it will be just a brrsilian celebrity contest all across the various servers and it will be just annoying for the mayority of players.
