these are double mastectomy tattoos. These are the unclothed bare chests of ladies. These ladies have had to chose between their lives and their boobs when faced with the monster that is cancer. To show the world how powerful, strong, and brave they are, they've turned their hidous scarred chests, that most men would not even want to look at without boobs, into beautiful pieces of art. is there anyone here that can seriously say they must be into gang culture?!

I have friends who have got tattoos to commemorate the birth of a child. Or as a mark of respect to relivtives who have died. Are these people also into gang culture?

-I- have a tattoo. It's a pokemon tattoo, a friggin children's franchise inked on my skin! surely this makes me a gangster too by your logic? Or am i some kind of pedo and clearly have it to lure kiddies in? Cos usually people cry "pedo" at me when i reveal anything about my real life on here.

Also, to that person that said "if kiddies see it on a mouse game they'll get a tattoo in real life!" just urgh.... for 1) anyone who's willing to tattoo a minor without checking first shouldn't be tattoing, and if you're idiotic enough to go to someone who's willing to break tatto laws you're gonna come out with HIV and probably the worst most regret-filled tattoo.

2) so what? lets say some 14 year old sees a tattoo on a mouse here and thinks "omg that's so cool i want one." and by the time they're 18/21 they STILL want it, why can't they get it? and what would be so wrong about them explaining that a game inspired them to get it? A game inspired me to get my tattoo.

it DISGUSTS me that there must be parents out there telling their kids "people with tattoos are bad, criminals, gansters, etc... Stay away from them." This is just like saying "people who dye their hair are bad" or "don't go near anyone wearing make up or fake nails!" it's all the same, a form of expression. The only difference is the permanence. And considering it's not YOUR body they're permanently changing, why should you care? IT's a stupidly close minded way to teach your kids.

the next time you see someone with a tattoo, don't assume they're evil. ASK them about their tattoo. I can garuntee you ever single tattoo has a story, and every single tattoo'd person can tell you their tattoo's story. Cos you don't ink yourself permentantly without good reason.

also, I bet loads of people you respect, like police, teachers, members of the community, carers for disabled people etc, HAVE tattoos already, just in places that are easily covered by clothes. Or they are private tattoos they'd rather not have to explain to strangers. If you caught a glimpse of your teachers tatttoo one day would all your views on them instantly change to "omg, criminal gangster"? I don't think so.

sorry for the rant, but this stupid ignorance needs to be put to rest, or atleast spoke up about.

(i've spoilered the mastectomy tattoos but half expect the mods to remove them anyway. This happens on social media too and makes me sad. The part that's been deemed by society as "offensive" has been removed from a woman's body, and still they're not allowed to show the world what they've made of their body since their horrid ordeal with cancer :( )

^ the discrimination is so harsh, it actually makes me feel sorry for the poster. They're gonna miss out on so many wonderful relationships with other people if they continue to blanket-judge all people who share one thing.
