So after reading this whole thread I am still wondering why it is a problem that a divine mode and hard mode shaman look more or less the same. The OP only mentions that it's a problem, but never explains why and just comes up with some new design that is supposed to be a solution to a problem that was never explained.

You can distinguish both types of shamans in the way they build. If distinguishing them is the only issue here, I really don't think a revamp of the look is neccessary.
