frozacky a dit : Redistributing your points over and over again can lead to spending more than 250 cheese. Aka, presets are better in the long run... For some shamans, they have like 90 points and they swap between vanilla and survivor... That would be annoying, having to spend 90 cheese to turn to survivor and then another 90 to change back to vanilla. So, /support. Besides, you don't HAVE to use it. badassmel a dit : No,I was even thinking of something like 100 or stuff like that but then i realized it'll be very powerful ability,i was gonna think now of 150 but no,it's my problem that I don't get cheese fast enough,I see 250 cheese is very suitable :P jessx12345 a dit : that's what I said,LOOL,I totally agree and that's the problem I exactly had, that's why i'm supporting,it's very annoying to waste cheese (more than 250) to change some skills specially if it includes (the fun skills as) "Wilding" or "Physicist",most of the skills in those two catogeries are for fun and don't give much importance,I really love the idea very much :D Isummerx a dit : Your welcome and I'm the one who should be thanking u on suggesting such an idea :D Edit 2: Please Guyz,i'm seeing this suggestion coming to pg2,isn't that because we don't talk much in this topic ? Doesn't that means it got low no.s of supporters, please, guyz,I want this idea to be implented alot, please :P Dernière modification le 1469993220000 |

It seems like this whole suggestion comes down to the fact that you want to be able to switch between skills essentially for free. If this suggestion gets implemented, there's no point to have a Redistribution feature at all. The whole point of the Redistribution feature is to prevent people from endlessly changing their skill tree over and over. While it is your own free choice to decide if you want to redistribute your skill tree, the idea behind paying for redistribution is that it encourages you to level up more quickly (by playing more) and enabling more skill points along the way. Then, if you can spend more skill points, you will have access to more skills without the need to redistribute your points. What it comes down to is that this suggestion mainly benefits lower level players. If this suggestion gets implemented, the incentive to gain a higher level will fade away and people will settle for a one time payment to be able to switch between their favorite or most used skills infinite times. I rather see that people try to achieve a higher shaman level instead of settling for a cheap shortcut. Therefore I do not support this suggestion. |

/support lol Anythin a dit : The main point of this suggestion is to help make skill switching more convenient for those who play other modes, specifically survivor (from what I see here). In this case, they aren't even spending 100% of their time now, with the current system, to get experience and get to higher levels, and they probably don't especially want to. Gaining as many skill points to get as many skills as you can is too simple a point of view. Once you get all the skills, you can basically play any mode without switching between skills ever, right? No. There are skills like friction, and there are skills that affect your mouse's size during your shaman turn. The need for these skills can change between modes of the game, and they're in the middle of the tree. If I were to fill up all the trees to the top so that I have as many skills as possible and don't have to redistribute, well then I'd still have to redistribute because friction's in the middle of the tree, and I don't like having friction while playing survivor! But on the other hand, friction is incredibly useful for me in regular/vanilla. It'd just be a huge waste. When people run into this problem, of course they wouldn't want to redistribute. The more skills they have, the more it will cost to redistribute just for that one skill they don't want because they're playing a different game mode. So they won't. They'll stick to one game mode most of the time in favor of spending less money for something so inconvenient. And if the mode they stick to happens to be one that does not have a good experience yield, then the incentive to level up has been lost even more. In my opinion, I'd rather encourage people playing a variety of modes and having fun with the suggested system instead of grinding for a higher level for skill points that will be pointless in the end when they head for the other modes. |

Gujiniuniu a dit : I understand your point, but what you say here is quite subjective considering what is a useless skill to one doesn't have to be a useless skill to another. Changing a system because some people aren't happy with their choices seems a bit over the top. On top of that, the availability of certain shaman skills shouldn't be a condition to play in a specific game mode. It's easy to say people will stick to one game mode simply because they don't want to or can't redistribute, but what's wrong with pushing boundaries and challenging yourself? Why do you HAVE to have different skills to play in a different game mode? In my eyes, a true shaman doesn't play the game based on what they don't have, but on what they do have. |
