I really think this whole Headmates thing Tumblr promotes really degrades people who have real schizophrenia. Even worse is people with schizophrenia might get into a community of "headmates" on Tumblr, which could result in them not getting the kind of medical attention they need, because the whole headmates thing on Tumblr tells people they don't need medicine that it's ok.

Idk I feel very personal about it, one of my friends had schizophrenia, they helped me even build my tribe, but it's sad because they're no longer around due to their schizophrenia.

the disorder i have was also kinda latched onto by a lot of the neosjws and it made me feel pretty invalid because they were trivializing many of the symptoms
