Let me clarify; you are ALLOWED to create 2 furs, BUT

1 fur MUST be related to Transformice's 10th birthday
the other fur can be any design/theme you want

This is a prime reason why you should read the thread thoroughly

Create a Fur Competition OP a dit :
This year you are still allowed to design 2 different furs, but one must be related to Transformice's 10th birthday whereas the other design can be any design you want! This means you have the chance of winning twice!

So I was wondering if it was necessary to create a birthday fur or is it okay if we only design the optional fur...and regarding the optional fur- Is it ok if the design is based off of a species in a movie or book?

Edit: Should've read the above comments before about the 2 furs lol woops

Yeah, it's completely fine. You can choose to design 1 or 2, it doesnt have to be both. You will get the exclusive item regardless if you choose to do a bday or a normal fur.

Sorry that my response was confusing! I know the rules and all, just worded it badly, was trying to tell the user that submitting only 1 fur is adequate, although they’re allowed to submit up to 2 (if it fits the requirements) <3

There are only 9 days left in the contest, and to make the countdown to the end of the contest more fun, I'll be giving some facts from past create a fur contests. Starting with today (with a rather depressing fact to say the least);

The 2015 Create a Fur competition, while not being especially organised, laid out properly or having a proper voting system, was the first CAF contest and saw just 1 fur being implemented from the whole contest; the cat fur! Sadly enough there was only 1, but hey, there were many great designs by many of the artists in this community and I'm thankful to all those who took part, which made me make further fur contests. (Take in mind I did not ask Meli for any assistance in this contest)

There are only 8 days left in the contest, and to make the countdown to the end of the contest more fun, I'll be giving some facts from past create a fur contests. Here's the second fact;

The 2016 Create a Fur competition was the first competition where Meli helped out in, with the TOP 3 furs being added to the shop as part of the prize. The Toothless and Opossum furs were not added to the shop until 2018 due to some people suggesting to add them after the 2017 CAF's runner-up furs were being implemented.

From the winning furs, Toothless Fur was the most successful in sales!

Yay! Hehe. For anyone lazy to go to the first page, here they are, the previous years' competition threads: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018. Sadly many of the older images are missing/taken down from imgur etc. Oh well. It's fun to see the prototypes of furs currently in the shop.

At this point, I believe the next fur or outfit contest thread should have a huge text guide (font size 30 or more) about how to post images on the forum, followed by a youtube video explaining it step by step, with voice. This should appear on every second comment, one fur/outfit submission - GUIDE - another submission - GUIDE - more submission - GUIDE, etc. I am only half-joking, I don't know what else can be done to teach people how to upload their creations on imgur or another site and then post the images here on the forum. It boggles my mind. I understand language barriers, technological illiteracy, other issues, but come on guys, most of us are not 90 years old, we still have the ability to learn something like that. Oh well, I hope most submissions managed to appear successfully in the end, but I really feel sorry for some people that spent hours to create a fur only to be disqualified because they couldn't upload a thing even if their life depended on it.

We've got some news for you guys about the new item.

- It will be revealed alongside the results on 16th April
- It will be available in the shop on 30th April
- Those with an acceptable entry will get the new, exclusive item as soon as it is available for purchase
- The price of the new item will be around 1700 cheese, we are still unsure about the price for the item in terms of fraises
