| The admins already have a TOA document in-game when it's your first time ever logging on with an IP and by accepting the document you agree to everything that was stated, otherwise you're booted off the game. The admins have done their job and all they can about the situation without some chaotic rule. |

Spookshow a dit : Terms of Service a dit : its the childs fault, thats what the T.O.S. is there for |

Spookshow a dit : Consider getting all your thoughts out at once instead. You're basically implying it's not the child's fault when it is though. What we're trying to say is it's what the child agreed to upon logging onto the game. |

Spookshow a dit : no matter how many edits you make, youre argument still stays the same that its not the childs fault for not reading the agreement, when it is. you brought yourself here in your own decision, no one forced you to play here. |

| I do not mind the adult content, personally. I'm speaking for children who are scientifically proven to not have mature enough minds... admitting to being underage here... and nothing being done about it. They're still children. There is a reason why underage killers have a chance to be free again rather than spending life in prison like an adult would. They shouldn't have to be held fully accountable for being permantly scarred from vulgar content posted on a cute mouse game. Yes. They were in the wrong for quickly skimming the rules but it's the sites fault as well for not enforcing those rules as it should. It's important for transformice to solve this problem because it could cause the site to get closed down due to allowing minors to be exposed to adult content. |

| I don't think I have words for how awful that argument is. |

| youre right, the site should enforce the rule. enforcing the rule as you would want it to be enforced would kick all the people under 13 off the game. some people do want that, but realistically that isnt going to happen. |

| which is why i suggested the keyword filter. If you have any better suggestions to this problem then please.. go ahead and state them because this issue has been avoided for way too long. Perhaps it won't fully work but it shows that transfomice is trying to do something about it... which may save them from getting shut down if they were ever reported to the proper authority. |

Spookshow a dit : Sorry, I misread your last message and was under the impression that you wanted the filtering system to be improved. As for getting more staff to deal with the chat - unfortunately there are a few problems with this, and other things to note: • There are private staff members with powers to deal with chat issues that crop up in rooms they play in, and can deal with reports. • A lot of times, people don't report these issues in the correct way (with /report) which means that these staff can't actually see the reports, the minorty of public staff get piled up with these issues as well as hundreds of others. • Unfortunately things like getting rid of hackers and other cheaters seems to take priority. • It's not that easy to find good volunteer staff, even with such a large community. • There are thousands of these issues every week, they can't all be dealt with instantly due to the small-in-comparison staff team. • The TOS says everything and there is nothing better that Atelier 801 SARL can do on this side, if the child/guardian doesn't read that then it's not Atelier's fault. If anything, the fact there are volunteers dedicated to sorting out these issues shows that they do care and are putting effort in. • The chat filter is enabled by default. Granted it's not perfect and can be got around pretty easily, but the fact it's there shows that it's a genuine concern that is trying to be dealt with. If you've looked at the bad words list, there are tens of words and variations of different ones there, even in different languages. So far I think I've seen "more staff" and "keyword filter" as two suggestions, but both are pretty vague. Could you elaborate on how you plan for both to work in a bit more depth? |

Spookshow a dit : the problem with your suggestions are that they cant easily implented, and that they can also just as easily gotten around like the current ones. and as stated before and in shamouseys wall of explanatons (bless by the way), the terms of service protects Atelier from things such as vulgarity since it is the individual users choices to ignore the terms of service, and the rulebreaks get punished accordingly. |

| All I'm going to say is that your suggestions aren't very realistic Spookshow. It would be great to have a team of people in every community that helps to maintain some sort of language filter. But if you're realistic: Do we need another special team for one specific task on this game? How are you going to verify if the listed words actually are inappropriate? What are you going to do to prevent arbitrariness? The other point you raise is that you want Atelier801 to enforce the ToS. Realisticly, it is impossible to verify someone's age over the internet, without knowing any personal information about them. You can easily fake your age on the internet without being caught. This is being proven on a daily basis. In my opinion, the suggestions you propose are utopic but in no way realistic. |

| And you also propose that it'd be simple "for moderators to monitor the chat" and catch the get-arounds, yet you fail to grasp that there are tens-of-thousands of players on every day, and probably that many rooms as well. For your idea to work as perfectly and smoothly as you claim, TFM would have to hire tens of thousands of moderators. |

| Let's also count how many uers are Brazilian yet frequent EN, and only a couple EN mods understand Portuguese. Sure you could make a list of slangs/improper phrases but there's so many different words simply for "ass" in Portuguese (I can think of at least five), not to mention intentional misspellings to fake out the filter, it'd take eons to ever list them. |

| I just want the site to enforce it's own terms of service... It's not that unrealistic of a expectation lol and it shouldn't have to be my job to figure everything out for how you're supposed to do it. It should be enforced or changed, though. That's for certain. All I know for sure is that things aren't okay with the way they are now. I didn't say filter every cuss word like "ass" or "shit". Fuck. I just mean filter out the very vulgar and mature words that shouldn't even be discussed. As i said before there are already lists for different variations used for those words to make it easier when adding them into the keyword filter to be blocked. |

| It's called a debate, dear. Your exact words: Spookshow a dit : But nobody said it was your job. There's a Suggestion forum you can post this stuff in if you want to bring it up to staff, but as Shamousey and Anythin pointed out, your suggestions are hardly viable. |

| I'm not debating. I'm suggesting. So leave it be. You're trying to fight about stupid shit and it's not getting the main point across. There is a problem here on transformice and instead of trying to just argue with me about why my idea is bad.. try suggesting something else that can be done about it to help. Try being productive. |

| I'm not trying to fight at all. Yes, I agree there is a problem; but you fail to accept the fact that it's not Transformice's fault (I suppose because you yourself are breaking the under thirteen rule). If you can't accept that then there's no point in even continunig this discussion. |
