Having viruses on your computer won't get you banned. I'd also recommend finding an anti-virus to remove them.

Why the sentinels doesn't archive the threads they locked long time ago? There's one or maybe two pages only of locked threads. lol

Since it doesn't happen automatically, we have to go through them manually and archive them. But at the same time, they have to stay long enough for the poster to see them for sure, so maybe a day or two. So every now and then someone has to go through the subforum and archive the threads, which I will do right now o/

Why not just use the warning system to alert them their thread was locked? (Unless a topic was requested locked then it's breaking rules and warns are meant to be reminders not to so...) Or come up with a general notification system?

Trades that involve items that are not part of the trading system are not permitted. The gifting system is exactly that, a gifting system. It is not meant for trades and offering to use the gifting system in trades is prohibited. That means that any thread enabling people to trade Fraises, cheese, codes or shop items cannot stay.

Where in the rules is this exactly? Not to mention, I've seen 0 people moderated for offering furs for consumables so I thought it was a-okay.

I've also seen mods say if they're scammed out of their items by doing this, it's their own responsibility; not "it's against the rules to do such (meaning offering furs for consumables), report the user who did it."

we do moderate for people offering furs for trade. this has just recently been added to what we moderate; previously we were telling players it was their own fault for falling for scam. when we say this, it means moreso that we can't reimburse players for what they lose, because it's their own fault for not using the secure trading system we already have in place.

now, if you message a mod saying you were scammed, they may ask by who and follow up on it and try to catch the person offering trades from shop- at that point we may be able to sanction. We won't necessarily ban someone if you have already been scammed, because we were unable to see proof of it.

Are topic like this supposed to be deleted or are they "legit" for the cafè? Imho it's ok to have some spam topic but at least it has to have a minimum amount of sense. The cafè of our server has little to no moderation, and topic like those are in a insane number.

- Map crew handles maps in game, and can moderate map submissions forum
- Moderators work in game
- Vote crew has no powers, they only vote
- Sentinels work on the forum
- Lua members "work" in game, AHB have a single forum they work in but have no powers in either it or in game.
- Admins do it all

There should be a bit of an overhaul of the rules and guidelines thread soon to help address the trading situation as well as other updates and oversights that the current thread doesn't cover.

On that note and as a bit of a general reminder, if there are any rules or situations that aren't clear or are missing please don't be afraid to ask here. While we do try and cover the rules and guidelines as extensively as possible, it's easy to leave out situations that we haven't thought of or that we take for granted as public knowledge. We can't always share the entire staff system but we can certainly try and help clarify issues as much as possible.
