Left as is: @7146001 - Mquk - I'm actually quite fond of this map and was really tempted to P1 it right off the bat, however there's a few things that I'd like to see improved so that it has a chance to be selected for P4. The grounds to the far right, could you lift them up or shrink the bottom a bit, so that the Shaman has room to go under this? You can leave it still a bit tight, but I'd love to see more variety in this map. Also, the vertical ice near the center of the map can be a bit smaller as well, so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. @7185445 - Papelio - Unfortunately, due to the massive ice grounds, this map is definitely something that supports what I like to call 'forced path' there is only one way for the Shaman to build, which can result in the map being extremely repetitive, which takes away from the Shaman's creativity and inspiration that they may of had prior. Also, with the grounds you have surrounding the hole, it's not necessary at all to have, and only can result in vexation since the space there is very tight. Please consider looking at other P4 maps so you can get a sense of space and how the Shaman can manipulate it, rather than having everything being so clustered and simplistic. @7181313 - Bendittt - This map is extremely simplistic and lacks a variety of ways for the Shaman to complete the map, having the excessive amount of cloud can be vexing and even boring for Shaman's to have to encounter. There isn't no obstacle in this map to make them [the Shaman] ponder or inspire them to try something different or unique. You've offered only one definite solution for the Shaman to complete the map, and that itself is extremely generic. Please consider getting rid of the clouds and implementing another challenge, but being wary of the fact that very linear/mirrored maps are still simplistic and tend to lack creativity. @2016334 - Pamdecp - This map is extremely long, and while it does have a very interesting layout, I believe that there may be too much to build in too little time, especially for P4. I'd suggest that you perhaps send this to P8 instead, but with a few edits in mind. Maybe you could remove the lava ground that is below the hole, or at best, make it shorter. I also advise that you were to submit this to P8, you can put clouds on the bottom left area so that they [the Shaman(s)] cannot easily just build a bridge and be done with it. @7185554 - Balvas - There's an issue with how simplistic/generic this map is, there's a lack of ways to complete this map, which can make it very simplistic, there's also hardly any challenge other than moving the wood grounds away, which doesn't require any creativity from the Shaman, as they'd only have to cannon or balloon them away. The rest is without any challenge. @7185487 - Tohpy - I'm not a fan with how nearly every ground here is diagonal, there is only two or so ways to complete the map, and one path will be more commonly used than the other. Also, on the bottom, the Shaman's will only have to build a bridge and a ramp or so to complete the map, please consider removing one diagonal cloud ground and instead, place a obstacle near the bottom instead. You can remove the vertical ice ground next to the hole as well, it doesn't have much of a use other than to frustrate the Shaman since they'd have to build around it. @7185536 - Anabooleta - The map is extremely generic and doesn't supply a challenge for the Shaman's whatsoever to have to encounter. Majority will build a bridge like structure, as well as a ramp to get up to the hole, this can render the map in being too repetitive due to it being simplistic. I advise you to look at other P4 maps so that you can grasp the concept of valid obstacles for the Shaman and mice to go through, as well as understanding a better use of the space given to you so that the Shaman may be resourceful. @7183378 - Danielmago - It's a unique layout for the map, however due to the vertical ground that you have on the top center, it renders the map in being more or less a forced path, making it so Shaman's can only build a certain way, regardless of all the space you have offered them. Maybe something to consider is to implement crevices into the ground for the Shaman's to insert planks. Also, you can shorten the ice vertical ice ground in the center. @7121270 - Yuugiooohhhh - This concept is really overused, especially in rotation. I'm not seeing anything new to offer for the map rotation, also there's no challenge in this map at all, other than the Shaman's having to avoid the grounds, which can be a bit frustrating as a hole. My advice to you would be to start over completely with another map, unfortunately and use another form of obstacles for the Shaman, or at least implement the current obstacles in a better way. @4967791 - Donmickey - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @5677775 - Uhuge - Didn't work as intended @7183885 - Didshe - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @7153893 - Pingouuu - It's a unique layout/concept, one I haven't really seen before. However, the map is still quite simplistic, regardless. Water is also something that is looked down upon commonly, especially for P4 maps since it can mess with the build that the Shamans create. @7185708 - Trawlye - While this is a very spacious map, there's only a few ways for the Shaman to complete the map, and majority of them are in the same fashion, which can render the map to be repetitive/monotonous. This is primarily due to the massive diagonal grounds that you have, it doesn't add anything for the gameplay. @7186466 - V_Ntage - I'm honestly not a big fan of defilante death coins, especially in this amount since it forces the Shaman to build a certain way or direction, since it's 'a barrier of sorts. I'm not sure as of why you put cloud to the corner of that map, since it doesn't have much use at all. It'd appear that mice also believe that they can corner jump to the other side, but this only results in them dying. I'd make it so the mice cannot walljump, remove some of the defilante death coins, remove the cloud and completely use a new layout of sorts. Make the tall ground next to the mice a bit shorter so that the Shaman has more room. @7185861 - Gamog - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @7009440 - Zeleny - Your edits are appreciated, however I don't see this map going any other places. There's a concern for space, especially near the cheese which can be vexing for the Shaman to have to build to. My advice to you, if you'd really want to continue with this map, is to put a cloud in that small gap near where the Shaman is (to the right of them), Move up the entire ground/section where the cheese is and move the hole a bit to down. @7180900 - V_21 - It's an interesting layout for this map, however the red plank that you have looks a bit out of place and I believe you can find a better obstacle, rather than this, also, perhaps you could move the hole a bit further down? @7100100 - Eyux - Your edits are appreciated, but majority of the map won't be used, since it's so generic/bland. The Shaman's will more likely than not only build a bridge to the cheese and mice, and then a ramp up the hole. There's nothing that this map has to offer whatsoever. My advise to you would be to start over with a completely different map with better use of space and obstacles. @7186484 - Ripilicagata - Can be completed without the use of a Shaman. @7132113 - Maxislow - I honestly love the layout and idea behind this map, and could even see it as a P4, however, there's a few things I'd like to go over with you first; I don't like the idea of the Shaman's just building this diagonal type structure and then a ramp up to the hole, it completely takes away from their creativity, you could fix this by making the center of the map a little less open. (Maybe consider even moving the entire left part of the map a bit to the right). @6656283 - Obsyt - I don't see this map being any more than P1. @6630785 - Brenoouuw - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @4399394 - Uuviinhasz - I don't like how the only challenges for this map is moving the dynamic grounds out of the way and with the wind/gravity that you have, it can be extremely frustrating or overwhelming to have to build for. @7186705 - Commupro - As aforementioned in one other review, I'm not fond of the use of excessive defilante death coins at all. It's overwhelming for the Shaman to have to handle, since it's a barrier of sorts that can take away from their saves if they mess up once. Also, they create the atmosphere of what I like to call a 'forced path 'since the Shaman's can't build any other way. There's also no other challenge or obstacle in this map other than the death coins, which takes away from the Shaman's creativity and resourcefulness entirely. My advice to you would be to start over with a new map with a lot less defilante death coins, a better use of obstacles and a different layout/platforms. @7181461 - Mazeq - Forced path build, despite being extremely open. @7187047 - Fructedepadure - Not a Shaman map. @7184107 - Mivale - This map is too bland and/or monotonous as a whole, this is due to the lack of obstacles and grounds used. There is no challenge in this map at all, as the long plank can be used for their build rather than against. My advice to you would be to unfortunately start over and review some Shaman maps so that you can grasp the concept of better obstacles/challenges for the Shaman to face. P1'ed: @7170498 - Pashele - I've discovered that the Shaman only needs to put a few planks to complete the map entirely (which was only a small bridge and ramp) due to the mice being able to wall jump up to the other platform, which takes away from the Shaman' ability to build for the most part. Otherwise, the map has a cute simplicity and layout to it, one I wouldn't mind seeing in rotation. @7186053 - S4rg4sm - It's very interesting and a map that has certainly caught my eye, it's impressive, to be honest. however the only reason that this map is not P4 is due to the tight space, there's hardly any room for the Shaman to move around. I'd definitely like to see more of your maps, and if you'd like me to P22 this map so that you can edit it, I'd happily do so. P4'ed: None Ignored: None Dernière modification le 1498583340000 |
