I can see at least 20-30 furs in the contest that I would buy if they were in the shop, probably more, I have to browse the submissions again, I am sure some people added their second fur later and I didn't notice it. So, yeah, pretty tough to just choose 3 or whatever the number of winners is... I understand why you need 2 weeks for it.

To be completly honnest I don't have many favorites this year althought I find the large majority of the submissions beautiful, I also think the furs are way too clutered, at this point most of them they aren't even furs anymore they're an all outfit.

For now as for birthday furs I'm rooting for Kana's (definitly my favorite), Misfit's, Aquaaah's (really love the details on this one, really makes the difference between all the pinata submissions imo), Jaykay's and Qupoz's submissions, I'll probably buy them if they ever end up on the shop. + Shanghaidragon's birthday fur is unexpected but so cute, I love it.

As for not-birthday-related furs, I really like Alkylic's one, I'd love to see more red furs in shop, Pinkskitties's Sylveon fur even though there're already a bunch of Pokemon furs in game

I also like Premi's fur but it lfeels more like a consumable costume to me, but the idea is nice and I haven't seen many submissions using the gift idea. Same for Milinili's furs, both are incredibly beautiful but it'd be impossible to put items over them :/

It's been (way) more than a week since I first posted my submission so I just wanted to mention that I've added my birthday fur to my post on page 10. I hope that's fine. Sorry if it's confusing, I completely forgot about the second fur!

I am slightly hopeful that we are going to get a lynx fur in the shop this year. There were many lynx submissions in the last year's competition, a few new ones this year, one can hope... I can't really say one of them is perfect, they all have some qualities. Oh well, as long as it has a beard, some ear tufts and spots, I will be happy. :) As for the birthday fur more than 4/5 of them are some kind of cake, I will be surprised if the winner is not something edible, haha. Oh, and the last furs this weekend are mostly great!

We have reached a total of 262 acceptable entrants in this contest (after a double check), and I am very thankful for that, it's a new record for us. Now we'll take the next 11 days to vote and deliver the results to you on 16th April at 16:00 GMT.

My 3 favorites out of the free entries.
1. Dark/Midnight by Xraymin
2. Arctic Fox by Marifeix
3. Paintbrush by Natasha

I chose these ones because I prefer clean furs that don't have a huge amount of detail or colors (especially clashing colors) that look good regardless of what else you have on; whether it's just the fur, 1 or 2 items, or a full outfit. When it comes to furs I find that I am incredibly picky and, honestly, there were only 5 furs in total that I personally liked.

As for the birthday category... I will have to be blunt and say I would have picked none of them. This is not because they are bad. I just found that none of them suited my own personal tastes for one reason or another. As I said... incredibly picky. The one particular thing that bothered me about this category were the entries that were not actually birthday or anniversary related. Most of these were of the "teeheehee I slapped a 10/10th on it now it's tfm birthday related because 10 years xDDDDDDDDDDD" variety.

I really liked the Shiba Inu design although it was very simple. It reminds me of the original furs.
