non binary gender option on profiles

I mostly misspoke, sorry! I'm from a time when E2 still existed as a server, so I was a bit mistaken with the type of crowd that actually gathered here.

If cultural differences need to be kept in mind, it is something A801 will consider regardless of what is stated in the OP, especially with LGBT topics. They've proven capable of making slight changes between servers as well.

The absolute rejection of this idea, though, is selectively dismissive towards players from communities where these topics are acceptable.

How about we remove the ability to define our gender, so everyone is forced to identify themselves as mouse. Then nobody can feel insulted or offended based on whatever they identify themselves with, and we don't have to have these pointless discussions about several different gender identities that are not gonna fit on our cramped profiles anyways.

i already gave my /nosupport some months ago but im gonna add smth, the "none" option means that u dont belong to any options ("female/male"). it can also be understood as none of them, so i think that theres no point at adding "non-binary".

I don't think it's gonna be okay with adding it. And no, I'm not saying I'm against the LGBT, but there's already 'None'. I don't want to break it to you, but adding more genders is a waste of resources for the game, where they could focus them on something else that's worth it more in bringing players or stabilizing the game. As one person mentioned on a previous post, LGBT is unacceptable in most games. Though, at least you've still got the marriage option, but that's a good thing because in other games, they don't allow same gender marriage, while here it's just a simple thing.

everyone in a community against lgbtq+ could just... not use it. its not that hard to click twice, or type /silence, or ignore the player hating on the person. it adds inclusivity, which is something im all for. and since nonbinary is an umbrella term for everyone who doesn't fall under male or female, i highly doubt people will start wanting more genders on their profiles, and if they do it'd only be like 2 people. the none option implies that the person doesn't want to disclose their gender, not that they're nonbinary. some nb's want to show that they're nb as a sense of pride

people who are against it all have very bad arguments that fall apart with a hint of compassion and/or logic

Good point. However, unfortunately, some countries do not support the LGBTQ community. The game might get banned in those countries, what a pity.

Suggestions regarding the support of LGTBQ+ communities will sadly be rejected as well. Transformice is a game played worldwide, and there are countries who do not support the LGTBQ community. If we were to add items in-game to support this community, we risk being banned from the country.

Maybe instead of "Non-binary" just make it custom textbox. Cuz what about the trans folk. :P
I don't see what's so much worse with a custom gender than allowing gay people to marry, if someone quits because of this I'd be impressed.
