The map looks ok but you should align it better.

Make the H of the dynamic wood ground bigger with 2 points so it first exactly in the space , the L bigger too and put the dynamic wood ground on the hole, because being in the middle of that area and staying in the air more will think about cannoning it down and it will get stucked.

Also move the wood ground where the mice spawns more to the right.

@2673866 by Iluvhetalia

This map is fine,I like to see a good aligned map.

First thing I suggest is to remove those 3 grounds they don't help with anything just placed there for no reason.

The 3 grounds where the cheese stays should be moved more to the right.

The 3 grounds down left side move them upper for more ways to solve the map (build under it)

One more thing i'd suggest is making the roof to not colide with grounds so it doesn't affect the build.

This should help you:

woah ok ty

Umm, hello all and one! I won't be posting much except maybe to bother the reviewers to review the earlier submitted maps first now and then, but I'm glad to be in the team. As Easy (seeteegee) said, please never ask me about maps or anything. I am a total noob when it comes to that.

Anyway! I hope I can make the team more efficient. ^-^

Here's my suggestions. The yellow circles is where I think you should move the cheese up too, the purple arrows are where I think you should put 1.0 restitution tramps that are 10 H and at least 50 L with at least 5 pixels sticking out the top. Lastly the white triangle is where I think you should put an ice wall that's at least 50 L and the H at least above 100.

If you move the cheese up and put the tramps in, it'll add a bit more gameplay to the map, the ice wall of course keeping mice from going to the other side so some mice that went left will be fighting with the mice on the right to get to the hole.

Also, I kept getting jumplocked on the moving chocolate, I think you should try lowering the friction on it by just a bit, so mice still stick but won't get stuck. If you know what I mean. Also sorry if this review didn't have much info, I had trouble finding ways to help ^^;

@2887852 P4.

It's pretty average but it's sort of fun to "pro" it.
But I'll need some advice to make it better.

1- Unneeded block, best to delete.
2- It's just one of my peeves to see ice or any other ground within another ground for reasons. But it's up to you if you want to keep them or not since it's not really a major thing.
3- Make it one single choco than three.
4- Tramp bouncing part is kinda luck based, you can probably make the angled tramp smaller and more precise to make it easier to where you're supposed to hit.
5- Spreading out the cheese and making it cover a larger area would really help. Going at hypersonic speed only to miss it really hurts.

http://i46.tinypic.com/sonyab.png
1- Maybe move the cheese to the right a bit? Also maybe a cheese cluster to prevent missing cheese-throughs.
2- Same as reason 2 for the first map.
3- Merge into single ice block.

http://i46.tinypic.com/14xh16o.png
1- Unneeded ice block, should probably remove.
2- Merge into one ice ground.
3- Remove ice ground, widen tramp to fill it.
4- :o
5- Big empty space there, not sure if you want to replace the part after cheese. But I'm just saying, you could be putting something else there on the way back to hole :P

This map is actually supposed to not be a racing style map. It's sort of like a co-op for mice so that they would have to push either side to help the other side. The top area is so that if one lucky person manages to get to the top before the chocolate grounds makes them unable to get through, they would just run over to the otherside.
The friction is probably a problem because you tested with only 2 mice, the friction is pretty low.

I can't really add anymore grounds cause this is for a contest :c

thanks for the insight though, might edit it after.

Orrigin - @2846782 (P7)

Late reply. ;;

My first impression was that this map would be too difficult for the P7 rotation.
Barrydarsow a dit :
Map should be generally completable by mice of various skill but reward better skilled mice.

I can tell that at the trampoline many inexperienced players will die trying to reach the other side. One thing you can do to change this is to add a floor on the right side of the map. This way the inexperienced mice can try to reach the other wall as many times as they would like. Something similar to the brown floor I drew should work, but be mindful of the possibility of a shortcut with the placement of this ground. You should move it lower as necessary, but it also looks nice when it’s aligned with the starting grass ground. ^^

http://i.imgur.com/ksw6e.png
You should also add rectangular grounds on the sides of the trampoline to keep mice from bouncing on the corner and flying/dying off-screen. An example of what I mean is drawn out for you in the picture; it’s indicated by those gray rectangles near the trampoline ground. It would also be better if this trampoline ground had a lava texture instead since the restitution is far too high to be considered natural in a trampoline ground. D: In addition, try lowering the restitution just a bit.

The bright blue arrows show which direction you should pull those grounds to. It’s an aesthetic improvement; it will help to make your map look nicer and well aligned when the grounds touch the actual end of the map. C:

Also… when I was looking at this map I couldn’t find a purpose for the trampoline marked with a black X. I completed the map just fine without it and I don’t think it’s used to block the way for shortcuts. In racing maps, I’ve found that the best maps have a purpose for each interact-able ground. ^^

You should also remove collision with grounds on high restitution grounds to prevent the possibilty of your map becoming a crash map.

I normally make (and stalk) art maps, so I’m a little more nitpicky on things like this, but grass ground isn’t a good texture to use when you’re creating a lot of curves. This is because the texture pattern of grass with a variety of angles makes your map appear misaligned even if it isn’t. For your map, I would suggest the use of ice instead.

Overall, I found the map to be fun to play. C:

I have a feeling "changed to no" implies that one's vote was influenced, which isn't a very respectful practice.

I changed it to no because we began discussing whether or not you were merely joking with your application. At first I had thought that you raised some good points in your reviews, but I don’t think an application where we have to debate over whether or not it’s serious is a good one… D:

1- Took me 30 minutes to figure that part out, you should consider that with Map Crews' expectation about bootcamps being easily understandable.
2- I don't get why that tramp is needed for unless you want to save a jump, which I guess is okay but not really helpful in any other way. Your call whether to remove it or not.

Woah..
Such great news!
Thanks alot for giving me a chance to help others. I’ll try my best to do good reviews, and hopefully not make everyone wait too much.
I want to thank Pepperkake,, Yosueguillen, and all the previous tribe leaders (including me), for letting me play, and test maps in the tribe house. This has improven both my map making, and my ‘’judgement’’ on other maps, a lot.
I’d also like to thank everyone in the map assistance team, for not only giving me great advice on my maps, but giving me the chance to help others.
Thank you.

Actualy it was with 1 mouse, the other was afk. And in all honesty I thought the map was fine without my suggestions. My review is merely just "things you can try" and add if you like.

It still kind of IS a co-op though, but I can see how mice all getting stuck in one place is a problem. I still think you should add the ice-wall, just make it a bit difficult to get over. Personally I thought no-shaman as racing.

I'm sorry but you're gonna have to excuse me for having lack of mice ^^; and No problem !
