| ----------Rejected Maps: Ehw - @2561151 – Reminds me too much of a current survivor map. I’m sure you know which one I’m talking about. Jerrybc - @2934471 – A map very similar to this one has been submitted before in the fight map submission thread from a while ago. I still remember it, so it’s a no from me. Nagouf - @2950737 – The lower grounds seem out of place. Unless it makes for a really good fight map, I suggest that you limit, or completely take out, grounds that are partially hidden by the chat bar. Zakros - @2950624 – The feedback about the unfair advantage has been somewhat taken into consideration, however there is still a handicap to either shaman due to the unevenness of the map and the ‘caged’ area. Also, a little too much ice. Dollyblue - @322155 – The overall idea of the map is good. However it relies a little too much on ‘confined spaces’. Even without falling down, the slanting grounds mean that the fight would be over instantly with the right-placed cannon. I’ll have to say no. Lucasalvesmm - @2950984 – There are some slight alignment issues. Also, please try not to use water in fight maps; at all. Lucasalvesmm - @2951079 – There is a dual-shaman map, or fight map, already in vanilla that looks similar to this one. I’ll have to say no due to the similarity. Drageny - @2946996 – Another suggestion. Remove the platform with the hole on, and put two holes on the remaining two platforms with the trees on them. These will be the new shaman points, and adds a little more originality to the map. This will stay in further testing. Geoorg - @1524224 – This map reminds me of something that already exists and is in rotation. It’s a no. Geoorg - @1524341 – The top platform is too high. We try not to promote off-screen fights, even if they are common, we still want to make it fair for everyone. The overall map idea is somewhat generic. Experiment with reducing the length of the grounds in order to make something a little more original. Jaymzzzz - @2952242 – The grounds are way too thin for a fight map, and the fact that some of them are off-screen seems really unnecessary. There are also some alignment issues with some of the lower grounds. It’s a no, sorry. Shugotsuko - @2952386 – The idea is good, but people need a place to fight. Try to not overuse short grounds. That’s never a good thing in room fight. Shugotsuko - @2952398 – This is just my map with a ‘twist’, quite literally. Also, the mice spawn on the cheese. Rectify this in future maps. It’s a no. Monstermanjr - @2952436 – This reminds me of a survivor map; the one with the annoying wind. It’s a nice simple map, however it’s been done before. It’s a no. Toonney - @2952480 – This one just seems like my map with two more platforms. It has to be a no due to the similarity. Modiff - @2953149 – I like the overall design, and the use of ice is good. However, it seems a little too much like Ehw’s map with some slight reversals on several of the platforms. It’s a no due to the similarity, however an appropriate use of the ice; so well done for that. Tweetis - @2953352 – Similar feedback to Shugotsuko. Try not to overuse short grounds. If we want to make the fight fair for everybody, people need a place to stand. Also, try not to use wood. Although it is a ‘classic’ ground, we try not to use it to make entire maps in room fight now. ----------Further Testing: Ziadtheman - @1469293 – It slightly reminds me of the vanilla map with the large spawn radius where the shaman is caged, but reversed. However I do like the map, so I’ll put it forward to further testing. Alandex - @2950896 – Try not to use objects such as chairs in fight maps. Normal foliage (e.g. palm trees, normal tree, flowers, bush, grass) is okay but try to limit it at that. Otherwise, the map is quite good and I’ll put it forward for further testing. Jurandar - @2952355 – I quite like this map, however I highly recommend reducing the rotation on the slanted plank. Camping seems imminent. I’ll keep it in further testing until changes are made. However, it may still be disapproved. Toonney - @2952467 – I quite like this, but I do have some suggestions. Remove the top platform with the hole on completely, so there are only four grounds. Put the new hole on the center of the platform with the sign on. This will reduce off-screen fighting. This will go into further testing. Jerrybc - @2950245 - This map is still being tested. It may be trialled sometime in the near future. Mrloll - @797212 – Thank you for taking the suggestion into account. This will stay in further testing until we can get a trial done for you. ----------Comments: Catochi is still in the trial stage. If any of your maps were not reviewed here, but they were in Further Testing from my last post, the changes still need to be made (except for Jerrybc's). As soon as we can get your map tested a little bit more by Lewbot and the community, it should then be permanently in fight if all goes well. I'll edit my previous post a little bit. |
