Whilst it's always good to see additional moderators, unfortunately my reaction is somewhat that of caution.

I personally feel that one of the partial contributing factors to the inactivity issues as highlighted in the EN/E2 Staff Feedback thread, is what can only be described as the revolving door of old moderators or sentinels, and how behind the scenes this can indirectly encourage the inactivity of others through the culture that was created. I trust the moderation team will be able to infer what I mean behind this, but if not I am always open to private discussion.

I want to make it clear that my reaction above is not in any measure directed at Gavin; it is a reflection on my experience from when I was a moderator. I trust that the feedback from players on inactivity will have prompted the moderation team to be more vigilant and proactive on this issue. I also appreciate this reaction is not the standard type that usually appears on this thread, but I hope it is received in the mature and sincere manner in which it was written.
