Honestly speaking, nobody knows for sure how the system upon name change will work, but there is a really high chance that it will cost fraises, even if it's your first time to change the name

It was confirmed eons ago by admins it would be fraises only.

no problem! as long as everybody gets an answer, it's okay

once you get a pm, you'll go through multiple stages of training. as an arb, im pretty sure it would take months for you before you become an official sentinel

just to say that it's not allowed to reveal yourself as an arb from what i know, it backfires

Arbs and Sentinels are completely separate staff positions; training to be a Sentinel does not involve the Arb position in any way and vise versa. If someone is chosen to be a Sentinel they will have all of their training as a Sentinel.

As for when the results will be given out, it depends on the time it takes for the Sentinel team to decide on the applicants. I would guess and say it shouldn't take longer than two weeks after applications close for us to come to a decision. We'll also only PM the successful applicants and make an announcement on the forums that we've gone over all the apps and made our choices rather than PMing every unsuccessful person due to time constraints.

Arb is an in-game moderation position, and is no way related to Sentinels.

We are reviewing applications as they are being received, but we will fully review all applications once the deadline is reached. It normally takes a few weeks before a decision is made, but this can vary.

Once we have come to a decision, all successful candidates will be PM'd on the forum. Once final checks are completed, the successful candidates will be promoted and publicly announced. Successful candidates are then full Sentinels and staff members, but are given extra support and guidance in the first few weeks/months should they want it.

After the promotions have been announced, all other applicants who have not been contacted can consider themselves unsuccessful - but you may contact a Sentinel for feedback on your application.

In your defense, however, there used to be a similar position called sentinel aides. However it was discontinued with the flash forum.
