i really think that when you get invited to a tribe it should say accept/deny instead of validate/deny
lots of translation errors
the idea is good in itself but it needs fixing since it crashes like every 10 minutes
i hope it gets better

Seriously every 10 minutes it fucks up and has been doing so for the last couple days, I don't dare try and count the number of restarts there have been.

And what really makes this all sour is when they FINALLY get it to work, the update is still lackluster and ugly, I now have a huge empty space on the left of my chat for no valid reason, the text looks ugly, everything seems more serious, using words such as "validate/Ignore" over "Yes/No".

The reason I fell in love with this game was the simplicity of it, it looked nice but now that's all changing because some fuckface woke up one morning and decided he wanted to make the game look like vomit.

Want a good update? Backroll to before any of this shit ever happened.

It's trial and error. I normally have a serious lack of patience for this sort of thing but being acquainted with programmers and knowing about this kind of process, I have to give them my respect.

Pretty sure they did get some kinks out on a testing server, but the humongous effort and strain that the millions of users put on it made it do things that couldn't have been found out in a test server.

We tested everything in a beta server and then we tested it again yesterday on TFM directly during the update. Everything works when admins-only could login. Bugs and exceptions appeared when we opened the game to everyone.

Yeah, sounds like database can't handle the overload then since you said it worked perfectly with a few of you testing it. It comes to this? "Everything is fixed but the server will need time to migrate everyone so it will need time to work." As long as we can get back to what we had before the update I don't mind it being postponed.

latter isn't really an answer but eh. I don't think everything was necessarily fully 'tested' and I don't think people should just assume it's something unavoidable when the game was offline entirely for a day, broken for another, and the thing keeping the community in contact is still consistently going offline.

I mean trial and error is one thing you can do without these kinds of fallbacks that are a huge downer on the community this update is meant to unite. but what do I know.

The Big names looks horribles and the picture looks weird and stretched out. I prefer the old layout because it seems more neat and tidy.

I think they should hire a designer to take care of the interfaces. They have programmers, graphists and a bunch of other people in Atelier 801's staff but they really need a UI designer because meh

I can't agree more. The interface is something that's always bugged me, both with its inconsistency and general design flaws you can see all over. I'd remade the interface several times for posts on the old forums and I know a ton of other people have too.

Half-redesigning things like this update has done (mixing in the flat, sharp edges style with the old one) just makes things look even worse :(
