I believe it's a community thing, once the community unlocks the bars, each player gets the title c:

You must collect required number of wood/stone etc. to get title, keep collecting wood

Yes, you will need to provide several of "proofs" that you are the owner such as IP, location logged, sanctions if any.. Friends that might've logged on the account..
