Everything will be synchronized with Steam, including your time played on your account. (./time) There's a limit of cheese to gift but I'd never heard about a limit of buying strawberries. :x

Yes, the more it weighs the slower it goes. And if by increasing its weight you mean nailing the cannon with an anvil then, yes, it will go slower than a normal one.
