I really don't think this is an important matter. If their child is swearing online, I blame the parents before I blame the community. It's the parents job to monitor what their children do and the language they use.
Even then, what is the problem with swearing? They're simply words. Sure they're vulgar, but it's not my concern what little Jimmy repeated from the internet. If his parents don't want him swearing, they should stop him (or teach how it could possibly be bad?) or forever hold their peace.

I agree completely. That's why I don't feel that swearing is a big deal. They're words, whether they're used to attack or flame people has nothing to do with the words. If someone is flameing people and drops the f-bomb, is it the words fault, or the players? Or everyone else's fault for having used the word before, in a different setting or scenario?

If an innocent man gets shot to death on the streets, do you charge the murderer, or the gun that was fired? Do you leave the entire scene and charge the man who had sold the gun? Do you attack the manufacturer for creating the firearm?

Right. That's fine and I'm glad you're trying to censor yourself. Call me old fashioned but I really don't think any child under the age of thirteen should use anything more than "crap" or "damn." But I have to say, my father is sixty-one and my mother is fifty-one. My parents are not young and hip and with it.

You have to understand that the only reason someone under the age of thirteen would be removed is due to a lack of parental permission (if even discovered). While I don't know how Atelier 801 SARL would manage to have said permission filed, it is basically law that any player under thirteen must have this permission.

Good thing i'm 13 now :D

I'm starting to get really annoyed at the immature kids. I don't care much about age group (I know some 12-year-olds who're really awesome and mature), but I care about how they behave.

Yesterday, a 9-year-old was yelling at me how I was a witch for kicking her from my tribe (a month ago), how I got her hacked (How can I get someone else hacked???) and how I should let her back into the tribe and make my own tribe (darling, it WAS my tribe, and all you did in it was beg for ranks).
I don't care if kids swear sometimes (let's face it, in the current society, swearing is pretty normal. And I swear if I'm REALLY pissed, so I can't blame them for doing the same), but I hate it when they spam, treat adults as their personal servants, and then when someone complains they say the person who complained is at fault. And I'm supposed to accept that, because they're still kids? Yes, I heard that sentence too $*#& often lately.

No offense, but if you WANT to be taken seriously, at least TRY to listen if someone tells you to stop spamming. At least make an effort to be taken seriously. If you're running around screaming how amazing you are, and how everything wrong is always the fault of a random adult, please, shut up and go sit in the corner.
And if kids play sex-vids in the tribehouse under the excuse that it's science (yes, I had a 10-year-old do that), then naturally, I don't have patience with them anymore. It's horrible how kids get away with everything and if you tell them off it's because "You're not nice", so you should shut up and stop trying to criticize their behaviour. They're awesome little gods, how dare you atheists disagree with them!


Sorry for the rant, but I've been pissed off by kids too much lately. If someone tells me I'm not nice anymore, I'm sure as HELL not going to be nice and amazing to them anymore. I seriously don't have the patience anymore to be nice for eternity while not expecting anything in return (I managed to put up with that kind of behaviour for months, and now I'm just sick of it). I'll be nice, but you be nice back. I'll respect you, but you'll have to respect me back.

And unrelated; if you're here as a 9-year-old (or whatever age), and you're trying to defend yourself, try avoid using ur and u, because it REALLY doesn't help your argument. I don't mind if your grammar is bad, but using u and ur instead of you're and you is just lazy and makes you look immature and nooby. (No offense meant with this, just realise that if you write it like that, you're giving off a bad impression).

Way too many kids, but it's directed at kids. Yet there are rooms where the banned words fly left and right and no mods ever online since Sydoline fired the good ones. I just got muted for trying to get someone who tries to crash us every map he shammed, aka Necromincer...thats all he does. He's a stupid little kid who thinks hes 'trolling' us.

Alyssamouse shoudla be banned as well as she whispers people to come to a room to ban someone she doesn't like and think she owns room 5.

We all have experiences with those.. kids.

We can't solve this problem because the problem is beyond Transformice. It's peoples behaviour on the internet as a whole.
