you guys were very strict back then, was there a reason for it?

How was the original leader and he made everyone use alternate accounts (he even owned the password to each account) because he thought people would just want their names to pop up on Cfmbot (the bot at the time that would give you the list of online Helpers), and he wanted people that genuinely wanted to help.

After I took over, we stuck with the alternate accounts for awhile more, though I wasn't make people give me their passwords, and we made this log because there were users from How's era that never logged on anymore, so we were just trying to shorten the list (you can see the Helpers EN list used to be absolutely gigantic).

Eventually I was able to talk Sourdough (who was the one supporting the Helpers with Cfmbot) into letting the Helpers use their main accounts, so it became a lot less stressful afterward.

Bogkitty is a ES Helper Leader and Cndalr is a ES Helper Subleader.

Some changes were made recently. A few people were kicked due to inactivity, other left because they lost interest.
Bogkitty and Cndalr are both not helpers anymore, Ratacp currently being the only ES helper. He will soon open the applications.
