It's not "clearly in this context" because your post simply says "Hey, I was muted for simply saying a homophobic slur. Why? I censored it and also I'm gay."
Regardless what's going on, you said a homophobic slur, someone in the room reported you, and mods blindly came in just the handle the report they got of someone saying a slur without beforehand knowledge of what was going on.
I'm not here to say whether you deserved the mute or not, whether the mute was fair or not, etc. because I've been muted before for also quoting someone who said the word, despite censoring it and also being LGBT+. But I understand why it happened and I've made terms with the situation. That's all you gotta do, man.
