I'd bet money that a few will have a slightly longer duration, like two weeks instead of one.

After this event I can say I really enjoy the change. This one isn't grindy, hasn't taken playing 1-3 maps several hundred times to finish, and didn't involve ACTUAL trading to complete. On top of that, there was no element of luck/gambling. Nothing is wrong with a little luck to base an event from, but there needed to be a way to purchase the rewards in case you never "roll" them.

I would have to agree, I am loving the new adventure system. Instead of just relying on luck or just going for a few things each event since I play at average for an hour or less a day, I had a reachable goal. I finished the event in 4 days, and it was nice not having to worry.

Now that the new details are coming out and Tig has entered his new little spoiler, I'm quite excited to see the next event. I'm assuming that it will be released in a few hours or tomorrow?

Melibellule stated that the event is related to France (and French history (< this could be wrong)).

Well, France DOES have castles, and i'm pretty sure France was a country during the medieval times.

One of the mods confirmed it would be related to King's Cake and we won't be baking it. Then we will probably eat it! :D
In a few hours we will know though.

I think it would be insane for Transformice to keep releasing new events every week. Maybe do two events for two weeks, then take two weeks off. That'd make more sense imo. Rushing to reach the deadline is asking for mistakes.

Now I'm concerned that this will be exhausting for everyone (devs and players) pretty soon. I tried to ask Meli about this on her blog but no reply.

Surely we'd get some breathing room once in a while. Like events that are still the same difficulty but lasts for 2~3 weeks.

I feel it's going to be near impossible to keep up with having an event each week, for both the players and the admins, imagine the amount of art/badges/maps/items they are going to have to create, ouch. I'd feel like having 2 events per month is a more realistic goal.
