Let's remove the new shaman update!!

The recent shaman update provides a list of nails when a player is shaman. The following update after it was an option to let it show or not. Additionally, a new update was then added to show players beforhand of the shaman is going to summon. While this could be helpful for some players, there are many disadvantages about this new uddate. First of all, it invades shaman privacy in terms of favoing and killing players. On the other hand, a player can easily get tricked. For example, the shaman is going to summon a plank in mid-air. It would look like the shaman is actually summoning it when the shaman is not. Last but not least, it causes the players to lag if they don't have good ping. In other words, constant crashes are more likely to occur for players if they have horrible connection.

Please vote for the removal of this new update. :(

The new seeing-what-the-sham-spawns update is awful. Even though the new summoning color is red, even I'm still not used to it and at least 10 mice always die on my maps because of it. When the plank is in the air, it looks like it's being summoned and mice jump. You're absolutely right, it does invade the privacy of the shaman.

Remove shaman spawn preview but I like the guide it can easily help noons, though I'd like it to be an option

I think it is not that bad :c.. at least for me because it branch a new opportunity to have in game 'tutorials' for new players

I think they should keep it but not in public rooms. Maybe they can make a training room where a helpful player can guide them through :o

Besides, training rooms are pretty much just private rooms, they're no different, they need something of their own.

All I gotta say is that in the ten/twenty minutes I play a day recently, I spend most of that time in another tab because I died from false sham spawn. This update is confusing af and I really hate it.

And I REALLY dislike people saying this is the "shaman tutorial update we wanted!!1111" no. it's not a tutorial at all. The only "tutorial" is the buttons on the bottom, and even a new mouse would still get confused by it with no explanation. The image of pre-spawned things are ruining my gameplay, and I'm in favor of having it removed.

I also agree @ the training room thing like ur gonna make a shaman tutorial put it there, dont ruin gameplay for everyone else. like i've stopped playing as much bc of this so gj tfm

I like the fact that you're able to see what they're placing but i don't excatly enjoy how there's some buttons annoying me, i just can't seem to shaman anymore like i used to. Although, what about the new people? How will they learn? Can't Transformice just explain when they first start how everything works? Like literally everything?

personally i think it should be the shamans option to have mice see what they're building and where they're building.

I don't know if anyone knows this but I need to say it after reading some of the posts made.

This thread isn't about the buttons at the bottom of the screen. It's about the shaman's movements being shown to mice.
In settings, you can hide the evocation interface. This doesn't hide the summoning, it hides the buttons on the bottom of the screen.
The pre-summoning doesn't show in Survivor anymore.

I agree that this should only be implemented in special rooms, like Training. It's aggravating when 10+ people jump after you pull out a plank and just let it hover. It turns firsts into a ping race, kills rushers and is just completely distracting to people trying to reach the cheese. Before randomly shoving something in our face, Transformice admins should probably create some kind of thread or warning to get feedback from the community first.

If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
