[Lua Event] Le Pizzeria

Smasher is broken or something. I have 8 tomatoes and 6 olives and it isn't smashing them. It doesn't even say anything when I click on the smash button, so how am I supposed to know what is wrong? Nice.

For me, it just closes the pop up window when it smashes something without any message.
Bolo mentioned that he wants to add some kind of message, though, so I hope that will help.

Have u checked the cabinet if they are there?

Yes, I checked the cabinet. It doesn't event take the tomatoes or olives. It doesn't close the window, nor does it give any message whatsoever. It does literally nothing. I tried restarting the game and waiting for next event but it still does nothing.

I thought it could be a glitch, so I added your player data in my account to play and test, and it worked as it should.

You have the correct quantities, indeed. I suggest you to try again or screenshot it not working. :)

I just added some more messages to make the system more clear.
Now the cocoa is smaller and the harvest time, oven time are a big faster

This event is way too complicated and very discouraging to play. The fact the creator has to explain everything to everyone here is a clear sign that there is too much stuff to figure out in just 2 minutes time.

Restarted game, waited til next event, and clicking on the buttons still does nothing. No messages and it remains open. It literally does nothing at all.

I'm explaining everything because I like to. The same happened in the lua coder event, in the crepe event, in the winter event, they had the same "complexity" and no one explained anything. I'd use 1 round to explore the map and see where the stuff are ^^ It's not complicated once you deliver the first pizza

Me and my friend both gathered everything necessary to bake the dough and it worked alright. Still, when we were trying to add the toppings, we couldn't finish the pizza and go to bake it. We were both stuck on the toppings screen. Is there something else we need to do?

Try reading that in a 35+ players room where everyone talks. It was long gone when I was done with the toppings.

I haven't tried it yet (event hasn't come up yet) but if that's the issue then I would need to wonder why the flying fuck the entire thing acts like a button if it does not function as such.

Well, so your case is solved. You were clicking in the images. You should blame tigrounette/pikashu because of the bad system between images and textareas :/ Always use the button!

Since when lua events weren't complicated they exist for 1 month for a reason, you shouldn't get the title in the first day unless you grind hard enough.
People in here didn't go around the map and investigate it couple of times to understand what to do, the event might seem complicated but that's the fun in it, once you learn the strategy you will finish it in no time.

Some of the complains here are built on a 1 day of playing the event that they reached to this conclusion. You might as well thank the creator of this module for giving you hints and guiding you, yet you treat him like shit and be plain rude towards him. You all need to get your shit together and play the event couple of times before you start judging because you aren't ready to play the event doesn't mean you go around and find someone to blame for.

My advice for you is to actually PLAY it couple of TIMES then your brain will function and understand what to DO, this whole world is based on working hard to earn what you deserve, suck it up and deal with it.

I agree, guides and stuff are nice, but some people actually play the game and like to discover things for their own, I am not saying we should all stop helping each other, but we should not take it for granted either. Yes, the interface of the pizza event is a little tricky, but there is logic in it and sure it's fun, the flaws make it even better if you ask me. You have to remember that the whole lua game, incuding what you press on the keyboard, what you click on the screen with your mouse, all of it, is custom made, nothing was ready-made and it doesn't use Transformice's standard interface. Discovering how everything works is a big part of the challenge this event poses. Let me stress that I enjoy playing it, I have made 2 pizzas already and I am about to make a third, there is no real joy in finishing it on the first day... Lighten up people, not everything has to be fast food, or spoon-fed to you. Chew your own food sometimes, it's good exercise. (3 food puns in a row, now who is hungry?)
