@2328768 P4 I like the concept in this map of the shaman hard mode hoels on top instead of down low. I also made sure that the shaman is paying attention to his/her build, and where the hole is. |

Zakros a dit : This map had more of a racing feel to me rather then a P9. So I hope you don't mind I kind of treated it that way. I'll start with the brown arrows pointing at the over-layered grounds on the ice. I think you should remove those because it sort of makes the map look messy. The earth ground behind it though I think is fine, and I actually have use for those. Now the yellow arrow to the left, I want you to change that grounds properties (I know this is a no-no for most maps but I feel like it's useful here) to the properties of sand. You could just put a sand ground there though if you feel it's best (Although it might look bad). And the right yellow arrow I want you to higher the friction by just a tiny bit. The cheese colored arrows, of course, is where I want you to add cheese. The first cheese arrow to the left I want you to rest the cheese on the ice ground, and the second one I want it raised in the air but just enough so you have to jump for it. The cheese to the far right I feel is fine. The purple arrow to the right I think you should lower the restution on that tramp so mice can't go back after getting cheese and bounce off it going straight to hole. The purple arrow to the left I think you should shorten that tramp to where it only can launch you to the hole. While the white arrow is where I want you to add chocolate right under the tramp so you have to walljump to the tramp and bounce off it to get to hole. The red arrow i'm curious of why that ground is there, I think you should just remove that ground all together so the grounds there look alined. Now onto why I think you should make these changes. The lower friction for the first earth ground above lava is for skilled mice to try and walljump the low friction, although it must be VERY hard. Saying that'll shortcut half the map. Although if you feel like that's a bit to much. I wouldn't put that cheese there or change the properties in the first place. The cheese on the earth ground in the middle is for normal mice to get cheese quickly, and the last earth ground is probably useless to do so but I think you should higher the friction on that ground for the newer mice. The tramp to the right should have lower friction because it'll be less rewarding for the mice that go the harder way, and it'll make the chocolate walljump to the left useless if mice can just go rocketing to the hole with almost no effort. The tramp there should be just for getting cheese. The walljump tramp to the left should only be 10 L and 50 H with the chocolate walljump alined under it. Now what I didn't mention in the screenshot is that I think you should put a ice wall hanging down (10 L 50 H) to the right of the hole with a 10x10 chocolate square at the bottom of it (Just incase mice miss/don't go in the hole for some reason). (@1237779 a P9 map for Shadie to check) @1887223 by Bixnood I like the concept of this map it's very funny and interesting. Some things I'd like to suggest: First you should make the L bigger for the mving grounds so you the items will get attached more easly and effective.Also change their colour with a dark green it would fit better. Remove the middle plant it's reasonless there. also remove the 8 grounds grass grounds near the middle grass grounds and make the middle grass grounds with 800 L. |

Zarner a dit : Let's start with the purple arrows. I want you to change those to circles instead of shaman items, and color them purple with maybe 1.0 restution I think it is, also if you're going to use red-bolts (Although this is optional) you can put a 10x10 circle in the middle of your tramp circle and color it the same, but make it foreground so it hides the bolt. The red arrow, I think you should replace that with a ground with a bit of restution, to give mice a good slide across the grass ground to reach the other side. The black arrows is where I think you should add chocolate grounds, this is optional though. 10 L and whatever height the grassgrounds are. This is optional. The cheese and hole arrow is just telling you to move the hole and cheese over a bit. The Cyan arrow is where I think you should add an ice-wall, so there's no offscreen gameplay. Ignore the white arrow. I changed my mind about it, Ignore the blue arrow I changed my mind. xD With purple circles with 1.0 restution it'll pretty much be the same as the balls them self, in higher perm maps the use of shaman items is frowned upon and this is my vision of how to replace it. The foreground circle and the normal tramp will be connected by the red-bolt, the reason why I say to make the foreground circle 10 pixels is because foregrounds tend to cover mice up (And we don't want that). Also a ball sized circle is 20 pixels I believe Now you need away for mice to get cheese. I think by replacing the ball that has the red arrow pointing at it with a 2.2 restution tramp wall, the mice will be able to slide across the grass ground and hit the chocolate to the left walljumping up to the cheese. Also be sure to put ice ontop of the tramp to prevent mice from getting ontop of it and bouncing away. The reason I think you should have the to chocolate grounds on the side of the 2 upper grass grounds is for the newer mice. It makes the map a bit more friendly to them. And as for the ice wall, I said above it's too keep from having off-screen gameplay and moving the cheese and hole forward so it's not stuck in said wall :p |

Zarner a dit : Okay this may be a bit map changing but I hope it's what you were going for. The red arrow, just remove the balls completely. The white arrow make that cloud ground all one ground. The 2 green arrows I want you to resize those grounds too 120 L and 100 H. The hole and cheese colored arrows is where I want you to move the cheese and hole. And finally, the orange arrow. I want you to add a 100 dynamic circle ground with a friction of 0.5. The reason why I think you should make these changes is because the balls were a sync death trap and alot of mice would die. The cloud ground should be one ground all together so this new "ball" doesn't get stuck. The 2 grass grounds should be resized, but optional. I feel like resizing them will make it easier for mice to get cheese. The mice will have to climb up the ball and push it back and forth to get the cheese and to the hole. That's pretty much it. Now, what you could do to make this more of a challenge is add obsticals for the mice to have to dodge while pushing the ball back and forth. This is entirely up to you ^^ I'd also try decorating the ball so it looks nice too. Zakros a dit : I pick them as I see them, I did mention I had more of a racing feel to the map so that's what I decided to do it as. I don't mind meeting with you so you can explain your map, and if you really feel like I must, I will review your map again after discussing it with you. Quick tip: Just because a map is soloable doesn't make it P9. |
