@165808 how does this cause mass death? There isn't a way for mice to die here unless they /mort.

Map Crew has asked admins for a "mechanism without shaman" category over the years but nothing came of it. Historically it has been very difficult to find mech maps so anything resembling a mechanism is made P6. With shaman skills nowadays, a shaman is not as useless as he used to be. I understand that it isn't much fun to shaman maps like this, but it's a necessary evil.

Sometimes there are 1-5 maps in any given group of racing maps that are very hard and only a couple mice can finish. These are a challenge, and since rounds are fast it isn't a problem to have just a few maps like this.

Yeah, the shaman is the sync if he has a decent amount of cheese and when the sync is afk, objects don't spawn until he stops being afk.

@255742 it's simple art. It has been removed anyway, it was part of a month where we added many animal maps.
@63366 seems fine to me, you must have had a bad sync which is unavoidable in mech maps.

You need to spawn within range of the apples, that's the gimmick of the map.

Shaman skills screw up a lot of things in maps but there is no way to disable them in certain maps, so stuff like this happens. This map is being discussed for breaking right now anyway, maybe it will be removed.

Sometimes that happens as a freak accident, and other times it is due to a flaw in the map. I don't know which it is here, so I'll make a thread so map crew can discuss it and figure it out.

"P6 - no shaman" should be great idea, obviously ! (any Px - no sham indeed)
"necessary evil", waiting ~ +20 minutes for nothing is mostly annoying, with or without skills.
There not only "not fun", there just: "Ah ah ah ! You can't do anything, just wait !". :'-(
