Well as I've said before ranked isn't for everyone and I'm personally avoiding it (I don't quite like the overly competitive atmosphere) and my only option is to play normal or not at all. Also I think the penalties will stick in ranked but just when enough players (Like 10 or so) join for an example the 1200 ranked room, after that game they'd be transfered to the 1300 room and so on.

Edit - But the exsisting room would have to have at least 25 players in it for a transfer to happen to prevent the last room from going empty.

The penalties were changed in ranked for a reason however, and the same could apply to normal (besides the stat rank).

I think that the penalties were changed in ranked because, as you said before, there are more competitive players - Therefore, more oriented to winning than just playing casually. Actually, at the beginning there was no speed penalty in Ranked iirc. It was introduced because there are not enough players just yet to be distributed in proper ranked rooms (and that's why you will find yourself playing with 2200+ ranked users) and fill them, so the very good players still get a little speed reduction to make it balanced for the amateurs with a low elo.

Still above 40% is overkill in normal rooms, always walking as if you had a speed down and there's still alot of good, competitive players in normal but just not as much. Either way people still go for you regardless and for most it is just about winning.

Being a player that had goals based on kills of course I'm going to go for kills and ignore winning, but it's a lot more difficult to do anything at a high penalty because people will end up taking all your power ups then killing you which makes the game unplayable unless you're lucky, at high penalties at least.

I still think 20% is just fair overall for the game because it's not overkill and you can still function.

My speed penalty is sticking at 40% despite me logging out and coming back. Change this please so I can actually play again without having to resort to wrecking my k/d, thanks.

It even gives me the penalty on a guest account ._.

There is also the problem with elo 2200. Sometimes when a player kills or more, our elo does not increase suddenly again we stay in the 2200 block ...

What I would really like to see more in this game is for players to just accept their death instead of saying ''noob'' at other people in the game.But it just won't stop , you know who you are.

Anything on a grid would be possible with Bouboum, assuming it'd have functions the tfm. package has like images and the such. Any sort of grid games like Pacman, Tetris, etc. would be easily possible to replicate, the same goes for maze games.

When the server restarts for Bouboum the penalties are cleared unless that's been changed too.

I'd rather them either lower the max penalty or change them in general, but sadly that'll never happen so I'll just have to quit the game again till the next restart to keep my stats from plummeting.

If you call fun dying at the start of every round because someone decided to go for an easy kill, sure.

If you also call fun not getting any power ups because people have such an easy time stealing them, sure.

If you call this fun as well, losing every round because you can't dodge chains of bomb, sure why not.

If you call fun not being able to fuctionally play the game, be my guest.
