Why the reviews take so long? Because we're busy with real life too. Some of us also have other things to take care of, school, college, work, health, family, basic needs, etc. We can't be all day reviewing maps. Why when they happen are so vague? That... I don't really have an explanation for that, all I can do is apologise because I agree they are vague and they should be better. Would not it be better to add new Mapcrews? Apps have been open for a long time, yet we don't get that many apps, and when we do they're not good enough. Also just because we need people doesn't mean we'll pick someone who didn't even bother check that toilet map in the P4 category. (that's a hint, play the maps before applying) |

Hi everybody, I do not really know where else to post this (if it fits better elsewhere, feel free to move this post wherever it may belong). Over the next little while, you should see a pretty significant change in survivor: We have removed totems! The update is happening as I am typing this. This is a much requested update to survivor and we hope that you will enjoy it. I don't mean to steal the thunder from the survivor announcement, but I have a racing announcement, too. Attention racing players: Racing currently has 1323 maps. To help keep things fresh, these maps are being split up into several groups, with somewhere around 250-275 maps in each group. The maps in each group are selected at random. Every month, a new group will be put into racing. This will allow several new maps to be added at once. I don't know how long this is going to last, consider it an experiment right now. If 250-275 maps aren't enough and get boring, I may increase the size of the groups. Map makers: If you see that your map has been "P17'ed" in the racing submission thread, it may not necessarily become P17 immediately. It will be added to one of the aforementioned groups. So, if you notice your map is on the "P17'ed" list and it was not made P17, this is not a mistake, it will show up in racing whenever that group comes up. Similarly, if you map was depermed, it is not gone forever, it will play again when its group comes up. I explained that the best I could but if you have any questions feel free to ask, and once this begins feel free to give me your feedback too. |

In terms of deperming and reperming Is there a way to just instantly deperm and instantly perm a group of maps or something? Cause in all honesty this sounds like it'd be super time consuming. |
