Heyo Seba, thanks for the detailed answer.

I didn´t know the maps are glitched, for me it seemed like Mapcrew just removed them.
The criticism about adding new maps is also invalid then, since the maps were removed for a good reason. It was only because that many maps were removed without adding an equal amount of new ones. I´m sure the mapcrew knows what to do the best.

If you have a few maps that you do not want in your maplist, can you request for the Map Crew to delete them?

Map crew can delete your maps by making them P44, but you can still open them whether they're P44 or not. They have powers to delete maps' contents too, but I'm not sure if they use it in situations such as this. You can also change/delete your maps' contents by yourself if they're P22.

Deleting a map's content:

Go to the map editor and click Save / Load / Test.
Enter your map code and click it again.
Enter this XML: <C><P /><Z><S /><D /><O /></Z></C>

Sometimes Imgur goes down for a while when it's experiencing heavy traffic. I see this nearly every day for short amounts of time. That's probably what happened.
