To try and fight this problem I've been putting many older, more simple bootcamp maps up for discussion lately to try and fight this problem. The old vanilla map used to play just like this so it's an accurate representation of the old map. However, many mapcrew members share your thoughts and it may be removed. If not, they are all due to be depermed on December 1st. Remember that new players have to play on shaman maps as well. @1156092 - I don't see a problem with this map, it isn't too difficult and I'd hardly call it annoying. @6462982 - I don't see a problem with the start of this map, it is pretty simple. @324426 - Hardly effects the gameplay so it's fine. @3199911 - That is the point. Moreover, it's just a temporary perm, will be depermed in January. okpatinhos a dit : @6688034 - The map is fine, having a lot of gaps to support the shaman building makes it accessible for everyone. Might be a big challenging in the cheese, but it is alright for rotation. Overall, there are some creative solutions and the map plays well. @6520554 - You don't need to have dynamic grounds to say it's a mechanism. The cobweb + water contrast is what we call mech, the essence of it's effect is a mechanism. Moreover, the P6 category isn't limited for mechanism only, having a trap (like this map has) or having mice cooperation are two other requirements. @6653258 - Agree on you about gameplay being poor and boring, but art is unique and the map has been permed in April (7 months). I'll discuss it later, maybe when it reaches a year of perm. Sarkazm a dit : Seems fine for me. Did you fully push it? blimpmaster a dit : Agree on you, but there isn't even a week that it has been permed and the concept is unique, old school art and the simplicity makes it alright for P5. But I'll discuss it after a few months with the others. Krato a dit : This map has been there since the very start of survivor, and shamans usually know how to deal with that spot, there are plenty of different ways to kill someone on there. It's fine to stay. |

| @2458923 - P5 THE SHEER LACK OF GAMEPLAY TO ART IN THIS IS DISGUSTING OMG Shame on all of you for perming this, the art is bad for old school color ground maps, the gameplay isn't even wj over art gameplay, it's just climb over a slight hill, A SLIGHT GOD DAMN HILL. There is absolutely no excuse for this map. Shame, SHAME. It shouldn't matter if this map is just filler, there are certain standards maps need to meet to even make filler, and this meets NONE. It isn't cute, it isn't funny, it isn't fun to play, it isn't beautiful, it's stagnant art, it's outlining is terrible, it's base ground completely ignores physics (it floats above the bottom of the map) which makes the map look weirder, it has no replay value. Like what the hell??? I don't care if this is filler, this has no place in P5, there isn't even anything good to say about it. |
