Summary: Sentinels from other communities who know English well enough can moderate obvious spam/junk threads if no EN sentinels are online at the time.

Considering how often no EN sentinels are online, this isn't a big problem really.

It's not like Micaiahx has got alot of work on the NL forums, so helping out the EN forums is a good thing to do.

And can EN sentinels mod other communities too if they know that language well enough?

Actually, I was told no when given the example if there was spam in BR and I speak Portguese, would I be allowed to help (as I did in the past). If I can get a proper answer on this that'd be swell.

Well BR doesn't exactly lack sentinels. Mausi was referring to the new communities most likely which actually have 0 sentinels.

BR typically lacks online sentinels however. I guarantee you I could go to the BR forums right now and find a bunch of spam topics.
