Shadowwinter a dit :
The first impression I got on this map when I loaded it up. Was water glitch.

The top white arrow pointing up is where I want you to add a roof, this isn't exactly going to stop water glitchers, but it will keep them from going quite high.

The 2 bottom white arrows is where I think you should add an ice ground, just one long enough to reach both sides but still have no floor under the water so mice can still die.

The red arrow, however. I want you to remove that water ground, and the cheese colored arrow I want you to lower the cheese a bit, to where it's reachable but hard to do so.

The ice ground at the bottom will help mice clear the starting water patch, but you can use this to your advantage to give more skilled mice a chance to easiely first by making it difficult to clear the jump, you'll need a good slide or else you'll be water wall-jumping out ! With the cheese lowered, but still hard to reach. Mice will need a good launch to grab the cheese and a good slide on the ice below. In the end, the map still stays fast paced but still rewards skilled mice.

When I played the map, I spawn and died instantly. Where exactly is the shaman being spawned? Once you figure out what's wrong and fix it. I'll then review it ^^

Foul beast signing off .o/ Because I have no work to do. :p

oh sorry wrong map code *failure on my part* and thats why i need caffeine at 6:00 AM

I guess i’ll just start from the spawn then. Instead of having a roof, which can be accesed by spirit jumping or simply building a platform, i suggest you use a 500-1000 high pixel ice wall to add ontop of the other one. This is to make it completely blocked of.
Below the snow ground, I suggest changing the height/position of the ice grounds, up and down:

Excuse my horrible skills at drawing please.

This is to avoid the planks to either fall down in an abyss (due to weight), or get stuck in an awkward position. It’s also a bit easier.

Lastly, I suggest adding a blue flower on the right side of the spawn. To make it look pretty.

I don't really have much to say about this map. It's well made, although.

I'll start with the red arrow. I'm not sure if you put that ice there for mice to corner jump to the cheese's block or not. But if you didn't mean for that I think you should remove it, in other words it rewards skilled mice. The brown arrow I think you should add a chocolate patch there to stop mice from sliding, it makes them have to be more careful.

The purple arrow I think you should add some friction to the tramp to prevent jump lock, I think 2 friction will do. As for the orange arrow. The lava could also use friction to prevent jump lock. Around 20 will do (I promise you won't notice any difference).

Other then that, a nice map indeed.

I really like the concept, but there’s a few things.
First of, i suggest having using something else than wood. Grass has become the main ground now, and therefor wood is mostly used as a dynamic ground. So alot of people might think it’s dynamic. It also have a ‘’top’’, which sortoff makes it a bad ground to use as a rotated one. I therefor suggest using earth, as that would look a bit better.
I also suggest using a sunny background, such as dawn, twillight, or daylight.
Adding a tree and some flowers wouldn’t be too bad either.

Having the hole and the cheese at 75-100 Y, and 100 and 600 X, would use more of the sided parts of the map, as right now the map isn’t really using much more except 300 pixels width of the map. Ofcourse, this would change the gameplay pretty much, and the one that is now, is very good as it is.

UPDATE!

The members of the Map Assistance Team are encouraged to vote on a suggestion thrown earlier. It was mentioned that we should give our clients the option to request that instead of posting our review of their maps on here, we should instead post them on the Map Commentary on its cheese.formice page.

For example, if someone asked us to review @800000, we would post it here instead of on this thread.

Keep in mind that this is only an OPTION for our clients. Even if we pass this, we would still post reviews on this thread by default.

This promotes privacy, if a player doesn't like people looking at his map when it's not "complete" yet. It also sends a cheese.formice alert to the player that a comment has been posted on his map.

The downside is that we can't put images there and we have to make do with just sending the links to the image.

So far, we have three yes votes. Vote now! Also, I want our clients to give their opinions on this idea!

I litterly have nothing to say about this map. I feel like there's nothing I can say to improve ^^; I wouldn't take this as a review, but i'm just saying.

Again, I don't have much to say because the maps already good. Although the brown arrows. I think you should tip off the tramps with 10x10 chocolate with a rotation of 45. So it makes the mpa tad bit harder. You could also add something in the middle of the map if you really felt like it. But either way I feel the maps fine as long as the tramps are tipped with chocolate.

The map seemed more racing to me, so here's some of my ideas. To start off I'll explain the green arrow. I think you should push that grass ground in a bit, or more so cut it in half. The 2 black arrows I think you should add 2 10x10 45 degree angle ramps so mice with cheese can get out. The brown arrow I think you should add a 20x20 chocolate ground there so it isn't all luck getting to the hole.

The white arrow however, I think you should do something like this down there.

http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/xx210/timmey13/Mapreviews/Ground1.png
With the grass ground to the right right cut in half and pushed back to be alined with the ice, it'll leave enough room for the image shown above to be put down, this gives the chance of mice either getting stuck on the chocolate, or shooting right through the water to the tramp water bounce to the chocolate. With the chocolate ground being under the grass ground walljump, it'll be easier for mice to grab the chocolate then walljump up. Lessening the luck of reaching and gripping the normal walljump.

Quite sure he means you can place a chocolate on the top of the trampoline, so that mice wont be able to jump straight updwards using the tramps

Much better. But a 30x30 chocolate ground ontop of the middle ground with 45 rotation would help a bit too.

Personal opinion. I just think it gives mice something to grip onto and also stop them. It's fine either way.

Anyways, i'm off to get some sleep. Foul beast is out !
