As the battle map XML coding has changed, all previous battle maps are currently unable to be used. So if you have to time, you can help to make us battle maps again! Changes in Map submission of Chest Maps: ›› Please make sure all the chests are visitable within 80 seconds but not less than 60 seconds ›› You are not restricted to 8 chests. Our recommendation is about 6 to 10 chests. Changes in Map submission of Battle Maps: ›› Team towers sizes are now fixed to 100 width x 60 height. ›› Red team need the ALWAYS be at the Left while Blue at the Right to correspond to the HP bar in the map ›› Do place a Mice spawn in in the middle of the map for players to get an overview of how the map looks like. ›› Try keeping your map size to 1600 by 400. however the maximum length we allow is 3200. ›› You are able to make Mech Maps as long as it does not interfere the normal gameplay. ›› It now uses a new XML coding, check it below Battle Map Requirement › There must be only one red/blue tower; › You have have as many team spawns. › You may use cheese or hole decorations, provided that one of them is ONLY used in the map. No cheese and hole together. › There must be at least 2 paths from each spawn to the opponent's base, › Any background theme is alright. › Avoid Defilante as it can bug the minigame › Lastly, make it enjoyable! Fierying a dit : .-. omg fier why ;^; i wanted to do this Anyway: - You can have as many spawns as you like. (dammit fier) - Holes are alright for decoration. Avoid cheese, but if you want some cheese for decoration do not include a hole. - There must be at least 2 paths from each spawn to the opponent's base. However, it does not have to be "hard"/"easy" since difficulty is subjective. At least one path must be possible without using cannonjump or related abilities. - Try to keep your map size to about 1600 by 800. Huge maps are really really not fun for battling on since a lot of time is spent travelling. - Avoid defilante if possible as some things may be bugged if you use defilante. - Try to make your map look nice (or at least PRESENTABLE). This means nicely aligned grounds, appropriately placed decorations, and the like. - Mech is fine in the map, but try not to let the mech interfere too much with normal gameplay (ex. a big rotating fan thingy at the center of the map that blocks everyone). On a related note, since anchors aren't used for spawns anymore, you can include those in your map for anything you might plan for. Changes to chest maps: - You don't have to restrict yourself to 8 chests now. However, try not to include more than 10 or less than 6. - Please please please make sure all the chests are visitable within 80 seconds (even though 90 is provided in-game). - Also make sure that all the chests cannot be visited in less than 60 seconds.
