How it is going to work:

I - If a new B tribe want to have the name of another A tribe that is inactive, so the A tribe will have a _ added to its name.

Ex: A Tribe = Souris_
B Tribe = Souris

If someone recreated an inactive tribe, it (the inactive tribe) will have an underscore in front of its name. Example:
Inactive tribe: Transformice!
After someone recreates it, it (the inactive tribe) will be renamed to "Transformice!_".

A couple of days ago, I tried signing into my account, only to have a message tell me something along the lines of, "You have been banned for four hours due to hacking. This is your last warning, another offense will result in a permanent ban." This has been my main account for two years, and I have never hacked. There are only two reasons that I can think this may have happened - I was using a VPN at the time, and this account has never been secured with an email.
Does TFM somehow discriminate against the use of VPNs? Or could somebody have gotten into my account? Also, should I contact a moderator about this?....

Whether or not you have an email linked to your account is not relevant for any sort of ban you can get in TFM.

As for using a VPN, the use itself does not get you a ban, but obviously you're not the only one using these services. They're especially popular with ban/mute evaders and cheaters. Since every ban that's given out is an IP ban, the most likely scenario here is that your VPN happened to be also used by some guy that got banned for a few hours, thus giving you this message.

As such there are no sanctions listed on "Switchfarm" and technically speaking this account was never banned.

If you used a different account when you got this message above may not be valid, in that case please send me a pm and I'll be happy to look into it some more.
