Will the OP ever be finished completely? I find it such a shame that all this information will be lost. On cheese.formice the thread is incomplete. I consider this valuable information for anyone who wants to make a map that has any chance of getting in rotation. Feel free to post a link that contains the full version including working pictures. I believe there is a google doc file somewhere? :-)

Starshipbay a dit :
Why is it that when I place a block behind a hole in mapmaker, and make the hole in the foreground, you still cannot see the hole.
Is this due to the latest update? Because I can definetly see the cheese, and it has the same properties as the hole.

Also, how do you make a dynamic ice sink in water without making the greater part of the ice below the water?

Is there an xml grabber, because I heard there was and that's how some people have been getting a hold of parts of my maps.
I need one to find out how to tilt the cheese like in map @4.

Finally, can someone explain to me how to make a dual mouse spawn, because I see it was already explained but I'm not sure how to use it.

The holes not showing in front of grounds issue is a bug and has been as of a recent update.

I don't understand your ice question.

A map's XML is sent in a packet when the map begins, so 'xml grabbing' involves packet sniffing. There are no "xml grabbers" for obvious reasons.

Vanilla maps have no XML but are built into the client, you can't make a tilted cheese.

For dual mouse spawns, put DS in the opening

tag like so:
<P DS="m;100,100,200,200,300,300" />
Replace 100,100 etc with the x,y coordinates you want.

They are done by putting a colored ground behind the cloud. It is used to indicate that the grounds are touchable by mice but not by shaman objects.

Where do you put <C><P L="1600" /><Z><S /><D /><O /></Z></C> in the xml to change it to a scrolling map?

You don't, thats a full XML, so therego that right there is a map, to change your map to scroll map take L="x number" and place it after <C><P then revalidate your map

I think Kitcatt meant "Where will I put this scroll map XML so I can make my map scrolling?"

In the Save/Load/Test there is a blank which under it is Load. There you put it and Click Load.
Chris,correct me if I'm wrong :D

Does anyone know a way to emulate C nails with joints? Trying with JD and HZ AMP, but that allows complete rotation with more force unlike C nails.

how do you increase the torque of a spinning ground with a anchor? I looked for the P and MP thing but I can't find it. :C

I didn't understood you well but if you wanna increase the velocity of a spinning ground, use the JR tag. You need a dynamic ground and a static ground. Paste: <JR M1="" M2="" MV="" /> between <L></L> (it goes between <O /> and < Z/>). Put the Z values of both grounds in M1="" and M2="", suppose a ground has Z=1 and the other Z=3, then M1="1" and M2="3". The MV="" corresponds the rigidity and the velocity (MV="R,V"). The normal value for rigidity is 10000, a lower value let the dynamic ground loose. Pick the velocity as you want.

Katburger a dit :

In some cases, it is. You can put a foreground ground with a lower Z behind the dynamic ground with the red anchor.

. a dit :
<C><P /><Z><S><S c="3" L="165" H="82" X="519" N="" Y="221" T="0" P="0,0,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" /><S L="165" X="586" H="82" Y="221" T="0" P="1,0,0.3,0.2,0,1,0,0" /><S L="203" H="10" X="384" Y="391" T="0" P="0,0,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" /></S><D /><O><O C="11" Y="224" P="0" X="590" /></O></Z></C>

Ah, wasn't sure if that only worked with yellow and green anchors. Thanks!

Note sure if that really works, it didn't for me :c

Anyway, you could alternatively use a JR node, in that case no B anchors would be necessary whatsoever. Here's the code for it:

a dit :
[...]<O /><L><JR M1="Z value of a non-dynamic reference ground" M2="Z value of the ground to B anchor" /></L></Z></C>

An example:

a dit :
<C><P /><Z><S><S L="100" X="400" H="100" Y="250" T="0" P="1,0,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" /><S L="200" X="400" H="40" Y="110" T="0" P="0,0,0.3,0.2,0,0,0,0" /></S><D><DS Y="75" X="400" /></D><O /><L><JR M1="1" M2="0" /></L></Z></C>

Is there a substitute for rotating red anchors?

Edit: Never mind, I have the answer.
