Board bridges won't be as stable without clouds so that's why people are complaining because Tig completely removed the ability to add even one cloud, apple, rune etc. onto your totem. |

Yes; I'm pretty sure none of the items you obtain from the skill trees are compatible with totems. |

Suwako a dit : Irishcow wasn't the one complaining, they were just stating the reason as to why other people were. I suppose they could switch but then again playing in easy mode grants you no harmode saves. People just need to calmly learn to deal with this change and adapt to things as they currently are. All though it would be nice if we could use just one cloud in our totems. That's not so "over-powered", is it? |

Like Musicaholic, I too used cloud totems to extend my totem farther out. I was one sad panda when I found out the clouds were gone but now I'm happy it works as intended. I figured I would make use of it while it lasted cause why not. Although I hope they don't do things like this when something is purely cosmetic or just a fun part of it that provide no advantage (like snowball totems, please don't fix these!) |

The thing that actually bothers me is that they can't take the time to actually make it work as it was intended and force only 1 cloud, 5 apples, and 5 runes etc in totems. They honestly just threw in an if statement to disable some shaman skill items...and the reason people couldn't use said shaman skills in a normal room for a while is because the if statement was placed incorrectly. A real fix is going to require some actually coding (wowwie!) |

Johnlantern a dit : I'm not a programmer.. but I think it would be difficult to code a limit of 1 cloud, 1-5 apples and 1-5 stable runes into the totem editor without causing some problems in other areas, such as cutting down or preventing said items from being summoned by the shaman during his or her shaman turn. Earlier yesterday, those skills didn't even appear in a player's skills if they had them. It'll probably take some time for them to come up with another solution for the glitch abuse, if they do intend to put those skills back. But I'm assuming they won't be added back in because it allows players to make totems with more than 1 stable point. |

Primeside a dit : We've dealt with this 'problem' for 5ish months (as someone said earlier?), I'm sure people would be willing to wait another week or so for a more proper solution (as Irishcow suggested and how it was intended to be implemented) that requires more complicated programming haha. This little 'patch' just feels like a knee jerk reaction to this. It's also entirely possible that they will not actually ever allow shaman skills in totems ever again because they will not solve the problem of limited item spawning since it's basically 'too inconvenient' and consider this problem solved now. (Exhibit A: Community platform is created; tk and rt commands don't work right away so they are just eliminated) I really wish they had just fixed it right the first time... Yep I know this is whining basically but how else do you get points across without saying them I swear to cheesus we need a cheese and whine section |

I edited my post since while you were typing that reply, I think. I added to the end that I don't think they will be available (clouds or stable runes, at least) because they allow the shaman to create multiple stable points on a totem. As for apples and all the others, I have no idea. |
