I was thinking about how so many people tend to make a tribe then end up disliking the name. What happens then is that people end up leaving the tribe to make a new one, yet they take everyone in that tribe who is active and they bring them to that tribe, or they end up making it so that people can not rank up or do anything wile there left behind to a slowly dying tribe. To have that stop happening it would be a good idea to allow a tribe name change, but to make it so that people cant just change it when ever they want, it would be good to make something like a 3 month wait before changing it again.


Also I am sure many of you have seen the many warrior cat rp tribes that have been going around lately. Most of the clans are remakes or new versions of that one tribe, so for those who are complaining about all the rp clans that have been around, well then this would help.

But even so there is still alot of tribe that are doing it, some reasons because they have little amount of members, others because they hate there name or they got bored of the name it self .ect

A simple method of ensuring people don't change their tribe name all the time is by simply putting a price tag on it. Renaming the tribe is better than creating a new tribe with the new name and hoping people will be leaving the old tribe for the new one, so in that sense you could easily charge the full 500 cheese for it. But yea, any price would help slowing down the renaming train.

Overall I think this would be very useful.

Also this could help not just tribes but people as well, those who tend to try and remake a tribe and bring there members to a new one, it can be stressful.

Okay, from what I've gathered from your three threads is that you want an existing username, so you want that account to be deleted so you can get it. Same with your tribe. Otherwise, you just want to be able to change your tribe's name. Am I correct in assuming this?

Actually, that is not true, I love my tribe name, I love my username, and would never change it. I took things I know about tfm, and what I have heard about with other people + the idea of cleaning up tribes and names that are dead would make tfm better, in my opinion. Infact I just think this will help tfm, not for any benefits I could have, but for people I know and tfm.

Okay, fair enough, And I actually think this idea is pretty good.

People were making fun of my tribe because it was called 'Magic Kitties' If I could rename it to something cooler, it would have a better reputation ^.^

i agree with lemodile, players should pay cheese (not a large amount) to change the name
a track history to see the changes of the tribe's name in the past would be really useful

might be stressful on sents tho, because they might have to close threads or change topic names frequently
