you could probably practice with a friend to try and become 'pro'
as for cheese, i'd personally just play in a regular room since i can't do racing, but racing is apparently an easy source of cheese, so yeah

Keep playing and evaluate others, you'll eventually become essentially "pro" at playing.

In "module" rooms such as #deathmatch , #bafflua and many others: See Here you can earn cheese in the shop without getting any other stats. #bafflua especially is one of the quickest ways to get shop cheese as the maps move very quickly, so you'll get one cheese every 2 minutes or so.

In racing the rounds can be quick too, and every map completed will give you a cheese, so that is definitely the fastest way if you are good at racing, if not, vanilla rooms with a small number of mice are often the quickest to complete, so that may be your best way to get more cheese.

To get better at the game could mean many things, there are many aspects to the game, such as being shaman or completing bootcamps or getting firsts in a race, but the best way to do any of them is to practice. Get a friend or two and go to "/room racing steamfighter" if you want to practice racing, go to "/room steamfighter" if you want to practice just general play. With a bit of practice you'll quickly get better and start winning those firsts and not breaking everything when you build.

For getting more pro, the best you can do is just practice and look up youtube videos for advanced stuff. Watch the sort of techniques others use, especially with shamaning, and practice them by yourself.

For me, I found it helpful to start a tribe (if you don't want to leave your current tribe, you can do it with an alt account). With your own tribe, you can change the tribe room however you like, and build areas just for practicing things you have trouble with.

You can get cheese quickly in a racing room (go to menu, then "game mode", then "racing"). The maps pass by quickly and you don't have to depend on a shaman. However, the maps are difficult to complete, and you will have to know how to walljump and sometimes how to do more advanced techniques in order to complete them.
