What Standalone do you think is better?

Personally, I think Baffler Standalone is better. I've noticed Baffler Standalone shows most of the videos that cannot be played in TFM/Steam Standalones.

Download Baffler Standalone

Download TFM Standalone

Download Steam Standalone

I've used Baffler's Standalone for a year or two and it's great, I've never had any major problems with it.

Baffler standalone is better because you don't need an extra program (Adobe AIR), it'll never not be supported (due to the fact it's basically another form of a browser and the only way it would ever lose support is if Atelier801 blocks Internet Explorer connections), and is lighter on older systems.

Baffler because of the option to align the game to the bottom of the screen. It's beyond me why such a simple and asked feature was never added to the official standalones.

Haruhitastic a dit :

Also to add to this, Baffler's standalone has a lot of options that the official and steam standalone's just lack. The most noticeable one would be the zoom option:

This allows you to zoom closer into the game. This can be used to view details that require precision like building a totem in the totem editor or for a high quality photo's: Too awesome to put here
Also (best on older version's such as v2.0.4) you can use the Hotkey option, that basically allows you to bind any key to do numerous of things such as change alignment to left, right, up and down or bind 1 key to do several chat commands in-game.

In overall I think Baffler's standalone is better just because of these "extras" that it has. Also as Haru mentioned, you don't need to install extra programs such as Adobe AIR into your computer.

Well, the reason it has the zoom option is because AIR lacks support to zoom. I've no idea why they're making use of AIR. If it was anti-cheat measures, it doesn't work.

Baffler standalone uses Flash. But Adobe AIR is faster than Flash. Steam standalone.
