Should Transformice allow more inclusive trades? |

I dont really mind, so I chose indifferent. I dont think it would help cut back scams, because then people could start scamming even more things, like stealing cheese/fraises. |

No. This is bad. You get 100 cheese when you make an account and can set up multiple accounts to get free items. |

The reason it's currently not possible actually has everything to do with scams. There are a lot of young players on this game. They tend to be quite gullible and some people make it their hobby to get these kids to spill their passwords or send consumables in exchange for all sorts of promises. Whether it's fraises, cheese, or simply that person getting them firsts on their account. Obviously you should never give out your password to anyone, staff included, but it happens. Allowing people to trade cheese and fraises directly will only serve as an incentive to scam more: compromising an account then will mean you can just empty out accounts entirely. |

The reason I chose why it wasn't needed was because, well.... Imagine how much scamming there could be! Honestly, this game is great with the fact you can work for the items in the shop. I don't think we need another trading system ridiculed with scammers. Yet this is just my opinion, I'll keep an open mind about it though, |

Not at all. It would be fun indeed but more unhappy kids will appear. It is like a vicious circle: scammer - victim - victim says they are mad and start to accuse -repeat. Kids make a huge tantrum about it and the result is a huge mess. The problem raises even more in low staffed communities or with no staff at all. |

I think we should, but all trades could be monitored. First, there could be a setting on whether you want to trade items or not. Second, while scams may happen, people should not trust anything, and children should be monitored. Finally, all hackers/scammers could and will be reported. |

mudkipaj0414 a dit : wrong, the trade system is private, and it can't be moderated, therefore mods seem to can't help you with this, after all, people should be more careful next time, because items outside the system but consumables can't be tradable (fraises, cheese, first, code, etc) |

I just meant it would make legit trades much easier. For example, I sell consumables (usually skins) for Fraise items around event times. I'd manage to get a lot more customers if they knew they could directly trade with me, no waiting around for me to uphold my part (which I always do, not doing so creates bad business!). As for trading for favors and whatnot, players really should have more sense than that. I understand that they're children, but they still need some responsibility. If the mods really wanted to warn the younger players against scams, they could set up some sort of incentive to learn about it. For example, Tfm could release an information page warning about the dangers of scams, what are the red flags, so on and so forth. Then players could answer a one-time quiz about them to earn a certain amount of Fraises or Cheese. This would get the players interested and teach them what they need to know! (Also, while I'm on the subject, Consumable x Fraises trades ARE allowed aren't they? Before I started, I read through all of the Transformice rules and didn't see anything regarding trades.) |

Tytysi a dit : im p sure consumable x fraises are fine because ive seen a lot of trades go well with it? doesnt mean its all good to do it anyway considering the negatives of it im kinda half and half with this one, while there are opportunities to make the trade system a little better with the added currencies (cheese, fraises) and that some of those trades actually work out, im not so hot on the idea because of what lemo described and if the admins really added a tutorial on warning younger players against scamming it isnt going to be like "ohh a warning! better check this out!!" and so on with the person reading the entire thing note that some children are naive, they cant really just get interested in that kind of topic and would rather go on their way i think it would be best to leave the trading system as it is |

Snowdragonf a dit : It most certainly is bad, like if they wanted the sand color, all they would need to make is 100 accounts! ( sorry if I miscalculated that's what the calculator said XD ) it's still a lot but, well if you had like 5 ppl helping it would not take long |

Honestly, this would just make more trouble than need be. There would be scammers and more drama. |
