So Transformice is a pretty old game, it was easy to cheat and modify your client to fly and whatever other map and movement changes you could do. Fly hacking doesn't really pop up all that much anymore, and usually results in a fast temp ban for whoever does it. What about currently in Transformice? There's many ways players can modify their client to be "better" than others. With how easy I've seen it is to mess with your client, I can imagine there's players out there who push around with what their doing. With cheese, since there's even a skill that can modify it's size, who says a player on their client can't slap a slightly bigger cheese size to grab it first with being unnoticed? Who says a player can't do little puny movement changes to give them the slightest advantage to grab first? There's many things with this game that is set on a player's client rather than through the whole server, I do not know how to explain this well. This is why Shaman buildings twitch and spas, or you see mice floating in the air repeatedly falling down as they stand on nothing, or you see mice enter the hole from miles away or they're not knocked around when they should be by objects/map, if that gives any better view of what I'm trying to say. I want players to be on guard and watch others more closely to see what's going on if you think something is up. An example of something I want to point out or look into that leaves me a little confused is this player. *LINK REMOVED* Their movements are a little strange. Swapping directions/turning around usually slows players down and deceleration (especially with cheese) pushes you backwards for a very short time, but this player isn't suffering from this slowness, as they repeatedly change direction with having their speed reset and instant deceleration while changing directions/turning around, or plainly instantly losing speed and falling straight down, giving them a small but useful boost of speed to reach first. Watching this player for over 30 or so minutes as they repeatedly leave and rejoin the room I see this happening consistently as they race for the cheese in the majority of vanilla map. I am not a good player, I do not care to get first and my ratio is worse than 1/20 first/cheese gathered and I play the game to have fun and pass time on my own. It nudges me the wrong way when players are praised for their skill when something doesn't seem right. I can eventually get more examples of such things in the next week or so. tbh if you think someone is cheating, they probably are and you should report them just in case. i'm good at this game and i have been reported many times and have even been banned by tribunal a couple of times in the past but i thought it was understandable anyway because people using subtle hacks is a way bigger thing than most people think it is. anyway i think if you trust your judgement enough, you shouldn't be shy with that report button. blame ping before anything else tho cause so much bs is because of ping even building as shaman is affected by ping |

You're seeing things that aren't there and you're over-analyzing the situation. Spotting hackers isn't this difficult. |

Hi Spiralsphane. ^^ I understand your concerns, but the forum isn't the place to report players in-game or discuss a specific player's behaviors. Unfortunately, I had to remove your video due to our naming-and-shaming rule. In the future, please don't "name-and-shame" other people on the forums; linking to videos with their name visible while insinuating that they're cheating counts as naming-and-shaming. If you truly believe someone in-game is hacking, you need to use the report function in-game as Sentinels can't do anything to help. Moderators are trained to spot hackers, and will see your report in-game and check on the reported player to see if they are indeed hacking. |
